Such a fun activity for anyone who wants to try very unique cocktails and have a go at making some themselves . I went with a group of friends but would recommend for anyone solo- travelling as it’s a great way to meet new people. The bar is cool and all the staff members were super friendly and knowledgeable.
It was my first cocktail class and I was not disappointed! The craftsmanship shown by the team on this beautiful bar was excellent and the display of ingredients (and creativity) really surprising and delightful! I enjoyed a lot the opportunity that was given to us to make cocktails from a short selection. I was there with two friends and we had a lot of fun, starting our evening in the best mood!
We recently attended a fantastic craft cocktail workshop hosted by “Taste of Hanoi”, where participants learn to make some of the most creative cocktails inspired by Hanoi’s flavors, dishes, and culture. These are far from ordinary cocktails—they are truly imaginative drinks built around local culinary traditions. Some of the inspirations included sốt vang (Vietnamese red wine beef stew), mật ong (honey), sô cô la đắng (bitter chocolate), and dừa hun khói (smoked coconut). The experience began with a hands-on introduction to the ingredients, where we learned about the preparation and flavor profiles while tasting the base components along the way. From there we moved into the art of mixing, garnishing, and serving our cocktails. Our mixology artist, demonstrated techniques using unusual ingredients such as yeast, pollen, beef-fat-infused gin, and other creative flavor bases. After sampling a few of her signature drinks, each member of our group took turns behind the bar crafting their own cocktail creations. She stayed nearby to guide us through the process and make sure our versions stayed on track. It was a fun, interactive, and genuinely unique evening. If you enjoy cocktails or want a memorable culinary experience in Hanoi, this workshop is highly recommended.
