This tour is a great way to experience several facets of Zanzibar in a single day, perfect for those only spending a short time on the island. It was delightful to see the spices on a local farm with excellent explanations from the local guide, and there was even a private show with a young man climbing a coconut tree to collect fresh coconuts while singing local songs. Seeing the red-backed macaques up close, as they ate in the trees before crossing the road, was a thrilling experience; they are very beautiful and active, well worth the trip. Next, we visited the mangrove forest, which has excellent visitor facilities for children. My son was captivated by the crabs crawling in and out of the ground. We had lunch at The Rock, but if you'd like another restaurant option, just ask the guide. The lobster we had at the hotel was better than the one we had here, but the view is worth the experience. After lunch, we went on water activities, saw many starfish, and then went to the Blue Lagoon. At high tide, there was nowhere to get off, but that was okay. The snorkeling was very enjoyable, with a good variety of fish to see. The cherry on the cake, to top it off, was Kuza Cave, a beautiful place with crystal-clear, very pleasant water. We thank our fantastic guide, Rashid, for the excellent experience and our lovely driver, Abdullah, for the excellent driving. I highly recommend them.
