Itinerary
We jump on Board and the trip's first stop is Sazan Island the journey to the island lasts about 40/50 min. We stay on the island for about an hour, the guide will bring you to visit Sazan Island Old inhabited Town, telling the history and interesting anecdotes around, back off the tour you can spend the rest of the time lying on the crystal waters beach of the island, drinks will be served to cool off from the heat.
We board again and head to Haxhi Ali Cave, the journey from Sazan Island to the cave takes about 15 minutes. We enter the cave where we stay to snorkel and explore the cave, snorkel gear can be requested from the guide free of charge.
After our exploration of the sea cave, the journey continues with an intimate cruise along the stunning Karaburun coastline. Traveling in a small group allows us the freedom to make more frequent stops—perfect for snorkeling in secluded coves and discovering the natural beauty of the peninsula’s untouched shores. One of our highlights is a stop at a charming beach nestled inland on the Karaburun Peninsula. This peaceful, equipped beach features a cozy local tavern where you can enjoy a traditional lunch and refreshing drinks. After a relaxing break, whether lounging in the sun or savoring your meal, we set sail once again. Soaking in the crystal-clear waters and breathtaking views one last time, we begin our return journey—about a 30-minute scenic ride back to the Port, marking the end of our memorable coastal adventure.

The excursion was certainly a spectacular experience. The places we visited and the landscapes we discovered were just amazing. But what really made the day perfect was our guide, Darius. Darío is not only pleasant, but also has a special talent to make every moment of the excursion memorable. Completely unsuitable for excursions. In 300 on a rubber dinghy where my body came out in pieces. But the extraordinary thing that at the turning point of the tour they leave us on an islet in the middle of impassable mountains and leave us there for 2 hours waiting because they had other people to pick up at the port. Simply laugh, change your profession.

The spots are amazing for taking pictures or just enjoying. Our Guide gave us a short course on History of Albania, it was very interesting. The weather was good, not too much or not enough.

A beautiful experience with Trips Albania. We took a nice speedboat trip to Sasan island and Karaburun unforgettable. The agency staff very courteous and professional, have explained everything for the landscape for flora and fauna is the whole history of the territory. Thanks to Trips Albania
The trip had ups and downs, in sum it was an european price for non-european standards. The good: Silva who was managing the visit seems to be legitimately very nice and tried to make our trip better, offering us a walking tour when the trip was cancelled due to weather conditions and offered us an upgrade to haxhi ali cave & dafina cave for the next day, and even gave us some coffee and kept our bag in her office. The locations were nice and we had plenty of time to swim and be at each stop! The bad: We had to be an hour before the actual start time, because supposedly we were going to leave the car and catch a ride, and ended up waiting one hour and had to drive our car to the harbour anyway. When we arrived to the harbour our guide informed us that we had to carry some drinks ourselves that the boat was supposed to provide as a service, and talked to us very "abruptly" instead of apologizing for the inconvenience. When we got to the boat, there seemed to be some confusion of which boat we were going to be in, they sat us all together in a very tiny space that was not suitable for 3 adults, we didn't even have space for the legs and had to insist for another solution. And we ended up doing the ride separated. There was little information shared or even schedules during the entire trip and our guide only answered "I don't decide we are waiting for the captain", when before he told us we would leave in 10 minutes, and almost 30 passed. We had little explanation of the tour we were doing, especially on the last beach (supposedly there was something historical on land to see but we weren't informed by the guide?). They allowed other clients to smoke cigarettes onboard. Last boat ride to mainland the skipper didn't even give us lifejackets. Overall it looks like the "captain" did whatever he wanted, with no regard for the customer service. We hope these details can be improved as it would make the tour a really good one!
