Start your experience with a pickup from your hotel. Then, travel along the riverside to San Isidro, where you’ll see its cathedral and elegant historic mansions. Continue toward Tigre, passing through this well-known district on the way to the delta. In Tigre, enjoy a 40-minute catamaran cruise through the delta’s waterways, where you’ll observe island life, stilt houses, and unique services such as floating supermarkets and water taxis. You’ll also see President Sarmiento’s house-museum. At the end of the boat ride, return to Buenos Aires by bus, with the tour concluding in the city center at approximately 1 pm.
In the evening and you will head to the traditional neighborhood of San Telmo, considered the birthplace of tango and one of the oldest districts in Buenos Aires. There, you’ll arrive at a historic conventillo, a classic tenement house where the famous La Ventana venue is located. You’ll enjoy a delicious three-course dinner featuring a variety of Argentine and international dishes, paired with Argentine wines. Travel through city to Tigre where you board boat and go up along the Delta. When return, short stop at markets (which were fairly boring), but recommend Havanas there for a drink and bite to eat. Get dropped off at various points to make pur own way back to Hotel. Picked up again in the evening for dinner and Tango Show. Evening was too long, so bored by end of show and it was late so quite tired (old age catching up lol ) But lovely day, fabulous guide
The tour was nice except that I had some trouble trying to locate the meeting point at Tangol ! The dinner was intetesting with some traditional dishes like breaded steak and Malbec pear in wine. The Tango show was simply awesome. Better than i expected. All in Good value for money.
Booked the tour for the afternoon (as getting off a ship in the morning), only to find an email stating the pick-up was from a different hotel that morning. Eventually got through on the phone, and they moved the tour to the afternoon but we had to go to their office. The outward journey is very slow, with the interesting boat trip taking just over an hour. The return in a lot quicker, with them dropping us off 5 blocks from our hotel. A bit hectic getting ready for the evening in an hour, as we had to walk round to another hotel for pick-up. Again the hotel pick-ups are slow 1.5hrs (would be better to take a taxi direct), the meal was good and the 1.5hr show great although views from back are not good. The hotel drop off at the end was a lot quicker 30 mins. Overall good value.
Tango dance hall was too crowded. We were assigned seating in the balcony with extremely poor dinner service. The dinner hall was terribly congested. The waiter was demanding tips even though the service was poor. Not even water was served to guests sitting in the balcony. The show itself was ok, though not as good as advertised. The trip to delta was ok.
Dear Time_traveler1974, We are truly sorry to hear about your misfortune. We are going to relay the information to the Tango house so they can see what happened, in order to improve their dinner service. Apart from this misfortune, we are glad you enjoyed the show, one of the best of Buenos Aires. Thank you for your review, it always helps us to improve our services. Best regards,
The Tigre boat tour was very good and so interesting to see how the people lived on the river and islands. There was an English commentary on the boat that gave a lot of information. The tango show was superb with professional dancers portraying the history of the tango through the years. The singers were excellent as well. Would highly recommend it.
We loved both the trip and the dinner show. The price was amazing (less than the price of the La Ventana dinner show alone). Definitely worth the money.
The vendor clearly had us at the wrong hotel so we had to go to a meeting place because we were so far outside of the city; however, the meeting place was 2 blocks from our hotel. For the second part of the excursion this meant we were waiting in a random hotel lobby for more than an hour. The tango show was good, but the start required a lot of random waiting around to be seated and to give in ones tickets. Overall could be streamlined. Also the show involved more singing than actual tango.
Dear Elayne! Thank you for your review! We are very sorry to hear about the misunderstanding. We would like to apologize to you for what happened. Our reservation team made a mistake when confirming the location of your pick-up. About the Tango show, the service you booked was a regular transfer, there are other passengers who are taking the same vehicle. For this reason, passengers must wait at the hotel / Tango house reception. In case you need a specific pick-up time, we have private transfers services. We appreciate your comments as it helps us to improve the quality of our services

Tour guild Camille was great very nice fun and knowledgeable. So kind to everyone at the ranch. It was a lovely day the ranch, food, wine and dancing very memorable very talented people. The Gaucho that greets you pretty much does everything from serving steaks to riding and doing the ring thing to being a very good dancer. We also enjoyed the museum and the horses were beautiful a fun day. Camille tells about the city on the way out and tells us how to prepare the drink they like Mate. Sort of like a very strong tea.

The Buenos Aires Combo Tour and Tango Diner Show were both amazing! We would highly recommend it to anyone that wants to experience the real Buenos Aires! The tour company was very professional, called the day ahead to confirm what time they would be picking us up at our hotel. It was a great experience all around!
