Spanish Cooking Experience in Mallorca

Description
Our kitchen is located in a historic building: a 16th century flour windmill in the heart of Palma de Mallorca which we have brought back to life. At MOLTAK we celebrate life as reflected in the kitchen. Where the main ingredients are the stories shared as we linger around the stove, appetisers in hand, and set simple tables. Moments that create sparks, that matter, all cooked together with love and a touch of adventure. Because there has always been a lot of life in the kitchen. A lot of all things good. A lot of joy, a lot to cheer, a lot of flavour, and a lot of laughter. And all that, is what we want to share with you We love sharing our knowledge for local food, culture and our beautiful island. Participants will elaborate the menu with the help of our hosts. After the cooking session, we will eat together enjoying the best atmosphere and nice wine. “The most exciting ingredients at our table, are always your stories”. Be our guest!

Easy to find, fantastic host and chef, knowledgeable about food and Mallorca, great English! 10/10 experience!
Carlota was a fabulous instructor who was very good at keeping everyone involved! We loved the family atmosphere of the class!
So much fun! One of the best things we did on the trip!!!
This cooking class and experience will be the highlight of your vacation or holiday! Flavia is outstanding and the instruction is fun, informative, hands-on and absolutely unforgettable. Perfect way to experience Spanish flavors and learn how to bring the food back to your home kitchen. Everything from the wine and drinks to the high quality food and atmosphere are perfect. I would recommend this experience for anyone who enjoys food, cooking and immersing yourself in culture while traveling.
Andres was fabulous! Very engaging, excellent instruction, and superb cooking skills.
Outstanding experience. We were traveling with adult children and would highly recommend this to others. The cook was outstanding.
Great cooking space, our instructor Laura was engaging and shared local culture and language. Our group spanned 15 to 80 years of age and the experience was enjoyable for all.
Had a great experience with Jose at this cooking class. We came by cruise ship so took a taxi in. We arrived early hoping to do a little shopping but the class is nowhere near a touristy area and most things were closed on Sunday anyway. We found a bakery and hung out until it was class time. Our main fear was getting back to the ship on time as the class was supposed to end at 3 but our ship had changed its departure time to 3:30. Jose kindly ordered us a taxi AND sped up the class a little so we could be safe. We made some tapas, dessert, and “tortillas” which are quite different from what I think of as a tortilla. The main dish was a seafood paella. Those who know me know I do NOT LIKE shrimp with their little heads and legs on them. Ewwww. Cockroaches of the sea. I like them as God meant them to be: breaded and deep fried. And don’t even get me started on those squid with their big eyes staring at me. So Eric and Maria let me make a vegetable paella. It was delicious!! 10/10 would recommend.

Our family had an incredible experience at Moltak Windmill Kitchen. This was not just a cooking demonstration. We were hands on from start to finish, preparing three full courses together in a beautiful and authentic setting. What made the experience truly special was Flavia. She was absolutely outstanding, warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what she does. She made everyone feel comfortable and engaged, and her enthusiasm was contagious. The food was wonderful, but the memories we made as a family were even better. This was one of the highlights of our trip, and thanks to Flavia, it is an experience we will be talking about for years to come. Highly recommended!
