The 25 de Abril Bridge is a suspension road-rail bridge over the Tagus River that connects the city of Lisbon to the city of Almada, in Portugal. The bridge crosses the Tagus estuary.

This was an amazing tour. We saw a part of Lisbon away from the tourist trail. Carlos was an excellent guide and we really enjoyed the whole tour. Muscatel at Porto Final was a real highlight and the drone footage is a wonderful souvenir. I think this would be one of the best tours we’ve ever done!

This 1/2 day tour to Almada with Watermelon Experiences was simply superb. Courteous, punctual, and ohh so knowledgeable, our personal guide Carlos, provided a guided tour of his "hometown", Almada. We saw the Christ monument, Capuchin Convent, and strolled along the beaches of Costa da Caparica. My daughter and I were picked up in central Lisbon, for a drive across the April 25th bridge with outstanding views, while Carlos continued to explain the history and features of the southern city. There was a bit of wine tasting, and stop at a really local restaurant for a delicious authentic portuguese lunch. I would recommend this trip for anyone and everyone who wants to really get a feel of the cozy southern city with a local professional. I cannot say enough good things about Watermelon Experience tours except to say, BOOk IT as soon as you can.
