Very attentive and organized tour. Do not recommend bringing a stroller for little kids as its very hilly.
It was absolutely amazing We loved every bit of it
This was honestly the highlight of our trip and gave us such an authentic experience within the village and learning about all of the various production. The pizza was genuinely the best I have ever had and Elsa and the entire family were delightful, and Benedetto reminded me of an Italian Robin Williams he really put things in perspective! Slow down and enjoy the experience!
This was a highlight of our trip. Spending time with Elsa, Benedetto and Salvatore was a delight. We loved learning about lemon growing, cheese making and creating our own pizzas. Everything we ate was delicious and they were so kind to our kids.
The tour of the lemon garden was very good. The cheese making was interesting. The pizza making was poor. They had us pat down the dough, they put the sauce on and I spread it. I was given cheese to put on They took and put in oven, which was expected. But was not told how dough was made or anything else. They were supposed to pick up at hotel, then switched to another a block down then switched to a restaurant 1.2 km away. They ignored my response until day before stating pickup at hotel not guaranteed did you read email where location was. The tour would have been ok but for the price we felt totally ripped off
We did multiple tours and this one was at the top. Everything was perfect and the family is super nice and so passionate about their lifestyle and work. Beautiful place and fantastic people. It was a pleasure spending the day with them. Would highly recommend.
Overall, it was really good tour. I have to honestly say the farm is amazing. The cheese demonstration was fantastic and the farm was beautiful. However, our day did not start off so well because we were told we we werebeing picked up at our hotel and dropped off of our hotel. When we were not picked up, I called the number that was sent to me in a message and discovered that a month prior to our departure and sent an address for a pick up point since I didn’t know the address of the hotel and our reservation said we would be picked up at our hotel and dropped off at our hotel. I assume that was the address of our hotel boy was I wrong we had to walk to the taxi station which really wasn’t a big deal. However, my opinion is the message should’ve said. We are changing the location of your pick up point then I would understood if something was happening instead of just sending me an address that being said it all worked out and we were able to walk to the taxi station and get picked up so it was all good. The only other problem was in my opinion there was too large of a group too much waiting for for others to be brought down from the cheese demonstration to the pizza making and standing around and waiting to go to the farm area all in all it was a good tour, but I think it could’ve been better organized and I think when you offer a hotel pick up, they should abide by that especially when I had a confirmation that said we were going to be picked up and dropped off the hotel
An absolute highlight, with delicious tastings and a fun, hands-on pizza-making experience. The tuk tuk ride and warm hospitality made it feel authentic, memorable, and truly one of a kind.
Unfortunately a bad experience. We had this booked for a Friday on our holiday to Italy. They emailed us late on Thursday evening to cancel once we had already decided to have an early night to make the most of the following day, asking us if we could rearrange. We asked if we could rearrange for Saturday afternoon instead and they agreed - until Friday evening when they cancelled again. I understand things happen but it put a huge downer on our holiday as this was the main thing we were looking forward to.
Family is genuinely warm and welcoming. Learning more about lemon, growing was gteat, and cheese production. Short run tuk ride a blast! Thanks you!
