This was a beautiful wholesome fun activity. We were met with a friendly welcoming family, had a tour of the beautiful gardens where all of the fresh produce is grown and then enjoyed a lemon spritz drink before starting our activity. There were us and 2 other couples. We made pizza and they made gnocchi and egg plant parmigiana. We all made tirimasu. Everyone regardless of what they made had an opportunity to try Everything. There was wine and water and great conversation all round. Had a wonderful time. Would definitely recommend this experience.
The gnocchi class was fantastic! Such a fun and authentic experience. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and incredibly patient, making the class enjoyable for everyone. They took the time to guide us through each step, and the gnocchi turned out delicious! You can really tell they love what they do. I would absolutely recommend this class to anyone looking for a memorable and hands-on cooking experience.
My friend & I had the BEST TIME! They give you a tour of the property, give you delicious drinks & homemade wine, and the food was nothing short of perfection. Can't recommend this enough!
From start to finish this experience was amazing. from arranging being picked up right through to the end of the experience you are made to feel like part of the family. When we arrived at the farm we were given a tour showing us all of the home grown produce used in all their classes. We were then given a welcome lemoncello spritz and then the fun started. We cooked tiramasu, eggplant parmagana, and gnocchi, and I will deffinately be trying these once I get back to the UK. There was fun and laughter all through the experience especially when we told the chefs we put garlic in lasagne, pineapple on pizza and when I asked the chef if he learned to toss his gnocchi by a Chinese wok chef.... We had to promise not to ever put garlic in our lasagne ever again. We tried their home made wine and lemoncello which was delicious. Can't recommend this activity enough, the entire staff team were amazing. Was also great tweet the other guests all the way from the USA.
This cooking class was one of the highlights of my birthday trip on the Amalfi Coast. Chef Valentina welcomed us like family from the moment we walked in, guiding us through making homemade Gnocchi alla Sorrentina, a rich Eggplant Parmesan, and the most decadent Tiramisu — all from scratch. I have a gluten sensitivity, and she effortlessly accommodated it without my experience feeling any less authentic or special, which said everything about who she is as an instructor and host. Our experience was intimate and grounding as we learned recipes that have been passed down for generations, in the place where they originated. We sat down together afterward to eat what we’d made. Our cooked meal was accompanied with Caprese, Bruschetta, local wine, and Limoncello which somehow tasted even better knowing we prepared the dishes ourselves. If you want an authentic cooking experience in Sorrento that feels real instead of touristy, book Core ’e Pasta. Chef Valentina doesn’t just teach you to cook — she makes you feel like family. I left with new skills, a full heart, a full belly, and unforgettable memories.
One of the top highlights of our trip! Giovanni and his team couldn’t have been more welcoming. The property is amazing. We had a tour of the farm and he picked fresh lettuce to make a salad after we all Commented on how beautiful it looked. It was a great lively group of people.Giovanni was a very organized and supportive teacher . We made Tiramisu , eggplant parm and gnocci. He took us thru step by step. We had homemade lemoncello and wine . Everything was delicious and the ingredients were fresh and we will definitely host an Italian dinner at our home with the recipies we made. This class was a lovely experience from beginning to end with a wonderful, warm team and a great group of people. We had a blast and learned a lot!
Absolutely wonderful experience. Meeting Nona and the family, the outdoor kitchen, the gardens, the food!!! Highly recommend!
Incredible experience. Family was welcoming and generous. They answered our questions about pizza as well, even through we did not attend the pizza class. Tony was a great teacher and entertaining. Marianna was a fantastic host. The whole family went above and beyond and the food was delicious.
I highly recommend this cooking. The host family is extremely kind and welcoming. Main ingredients used for the class are home grown. You will not regret this reservation. You will make memories that will last a lifetime. The homemade Limoncello shot is the ultimate chef’s kiss.
I cannot begin to express how wonderful this experience was. Just amazing. Valentina and Antonio were the ultimate hosts. They are both exceptional individuals and a beautiful couple. From the moment we arrived until our departure we felt pampered and welcomed into there beautiful outdoor kitchen and living space. The gardens and backyard setting were just lovely. For a real Italian feel book this class and not a city restaurant class. Now for the food! I would have to say it was the best meal we had on our vacation and we made it! Incredible handmade gnochi, eggplant parm and tiramisu were all delicious. I only wish I could duplicate this meal at home. Valentina is a great, patient cooking teacher. We never felt rushed and savoured every minute soaking up her expertise and guidance. It was bittersweet saying goodbye to them as we just loved our time spent with them. I hope to return one day and would book again. I highly recommend this experience. You will have fun, a wonderful meal and time spent with a wonderful local family. Don’t hesitate book and have the BEST time.
