Our Naturalist Guide will lead a 2 mile roundtrip guided hike to Sol Duc Falls, a beautiful 48 foot waterfall within a forested river canyon in Olympic National Park.
To break up the drive, enjoy a 30-minute stop at Lake Crescent, one of the most beautiful lakes in Olympic National Park. Visit the historic Lake Crescent Lodge and sweeping shoreline views of the lake.
Enjoy a 20-minute scheduled stop at Country Aire Natural Foods and Deli, a top-rated locally owned grocery store in Port Angeles. The perfect place to purchase lunch snacks and coffee.
A beautiful drive from sea-level to 5,242 feet atop Hurricane Ridge is a highlight of the trip. Join our guided hiking tour through beautiful subalpine meadows for a short walk or 2-mile hike.

- Our meet-up location is in Port Angeles, WA, which is the main epicenter for exploring Olympic National Park. Please note that this is about a 3 hour one-way trip from Seattle.

We spent an informative day with our naturalist, Oscar, seeing beautiful scenery and leaning much about the local sites, flora, fauna and animals. Having him drive us around and give a comprehensive narrative allowed us to absorb a lot in a single day. We would recommend this trip to anyone looking for an active day surrounded by nature.
We enjoyed the day learning about the sites and would have liked to spend a longer amount of time at each location to explore more.
Great experience. Got to see 3 different sites in one day and on a very busy holiday weekend. Our guide Ben was a walking encyclopedia on plant and animal species, geology, and history of the area. Every question asked related to the areas toured was answered-I walked away feeling smart on the Park.
Driver/guide (her name is Ash) was safe and very knowledgeable. She was friendly and pleasant and eager to answer questions.
Excellent trip! Our guide, Ben, was very knowledgeable, accommodating, answered all questions thoroughly. Hike was excellent, although a bit tough for me, I loved it! Time spent at each stop wasn't rushed and yet we stayed on schedule.
We could not have had a more amazing day! It was so awesome to experience Hurricane Ridge, Sol Duc Falls and Lake Crescent with an expert on the area. Tommy was amazing and kept us informed and entertained all day.. We were also lucky to be here on a warm sunny day and even luckier to see bears, deer and a marmot! The tour company was organized and the vans clean and comfortable. This was truly a wonderful experience.
