Very well, a very fun boat ride. We were not lucky to see much, just a few fish, but it was very good.
This was such a great relaxing snorkeling adventure compared to the other boats we saw! You aren’t on a party boat but a speed boat and we were there with just one other couple! We went at the end of dry season during hide tide and a blast looking at all the beautiful fish! We got fruit and water on the boats! The whole team David and Marcello were amazing!!!!! We do wish it was a bit longer for the price but understand why it’s priced this way
We will never forget this tour! David was so friendly and identified species of fish and birds for us. He also shared CR history facts with us. Marcelo was a great captain. Pick up from the hotel was extremely convenient.
From start to finish this was perfect - lucky with calm weather too. We were collected right on time from our hotel by a very friendly driver who took us to to Quepos marina. Captain and ‘mate’ were informative, chatty and enthusiastic. The boat was comfortable and well kept. Snorkeling was gorgeous, safety paramount as we were given ‘noodles’ as identifiers, and staff in water with us. Lots of pretty fish ! On getting back onto the boat we were served with some tasty fruit. We then went further on, and saw a large pod of young dolphins. The captain was careful to get close, and cut the engine for the dolphins. This was our last morning in Costa Rica and this boat trip was the perfect ending to our holiday. Well done guys!
Fantastic experience, loved the snorkeling and would recommend to anyone who wants a more private experience than the catamarans
Loved doing this in a small group (6 ppl total) instead of the chaotic booze cruise boat tours. We decided to delay snorkeling to see whales that were sighted off the coast- a mom and calf, so close! Very nice guides and good snorkeling.
Extremely fun time. Captain and mate were great. Smaller boat so felt almost like a private tour. We were lucky enough to see humpback whales and one jumped out of the water right in front of us. Lifelong memory! Boat leaves from a nice marina right in Quepos and they picked us up from our hotel. Highly recommend.
It was very enjoyable this tour, we were lucky to be only my partner and I, so it became a private tour, our guides were Marcelo and Angelo who behaved very friendly and helpful with us. First they take you snorkeling for like 45 min, we could not see many animals because the water was not very clear but it was a lot of fun to see how they ate the fish from our hands. They told us the moment they detected whales in the sea and we could see 2. This tour does not ensure you see dolphins as was our case or whales but we were lucky enough to see whales, it is very nice everything and lasts approximately 2 hours the tour. I think there's a little bit of clarity in the hours because it comes from 1 hour to 4 hours, which depends?
These guys were the best. Very accommodating. They said this time of the year was tough to see whales. They told us that 3 whales had been seen recently. Gave us the option of trying to find them. We chose to try to find the whales. Which they said might reduce snorkeling time. We were good with that. We found the whales and watch them with their baby for a while and then still hit 2 snorkeling areas plus cruised along Manuel Antonio park. Beautiful area. Great trip!! Very nice people and a beautiful boat in tip top condition!! A++
What a wonderful morning we had with Captain Marcelo, first mate and snorkel guide Jose! We were a group of 6 and wanted to explore the waters on a private boat. Marvin picked us up right at our hotel and entertained us with local restaurant gems and interesting info. Our boat was large, pristine and super comfortable. We went snorkeling where we saw (and fed) lots of fish, saw an octopus and held 2 different starfish. The water was warm and it wasn’t the slightest bit scary. We then headed off on a dolphin/whale watch. Although they had seen whales the day before, they were elusive in our trip, but the dolphins weren’t! They swam alongside the ship and entertained us for quite a while. We then toured around, had another swim and headed back to the marina. As the 50 people departed the catamaran tour, I felt so lucky to have had such a special experience on our own boat.
