Snorkel Tour - Visit 2 Shallow Reefs John Pennekamp State Park

Are you looking to explore the gorgeous reefs of the Florida Keys? Are you also looking to go out on a snorkeler friendly boat? Then you've the found the tour for you! On our snorkel-only trips we head out on our 2022 51' catamaran, the Calypso, to the beautiful John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and snorkel two different reefs for 45 minutes at each site. The reefs we visit are no deeper than 25 feet, and the same reefs come up to as shallow as 5-10 feet from the surface in some parts making it perfect for snorkelers - both kids and adults. We visit some of the most popular sites including Christ of the Abyss, Horseshoe Reef, Grecian Rocks, Banana Reef and more daily (weather conditions and mooring space permitting at the dive sites). Refreshments, chip bags, reef safe sunscreen and ALL equipment are included!

Important Information
- Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries

- Children under age of 5 years old not allowed on board boat as passengers or snorkelers due to insurance restrictions.
- All persons participating in snorkeling must be able to swim. Non-swimming persons will be allowed on the boat as a passenger with purchase of the snorkel ticket but will not be allowed to get in the water.
- FULL FACE SNORKEL MASKS ARE NOT ALLOWED. Additionally, drones, sea scooters, and weight belts are NOT allowed.
- Consumption of alcoholic beverages not permitted prior to or during the tour.
- The property and tour boats are non smoking areas.
- All persons participating in snorkeling must be able to climb ladder to come back on board vessel after snorkeling.

We had a great time on this trip. It was very well organized, they definitely know what theyre doing! Our only critique would be to update their equipment, but other than that, thumbs up!
We enjoyed an absolutely fantastic two reef snorkeling adventure with Aron and Emily aboard the Calypso! Both of them were helpful and cheerful, as was Avery, the dockhand. They all provided the comfortable foundation for our trip. Each reef offered unique sights and a huge array of marine life. A stingray, nurse shark, and veritable conch forest featured among the diverse and abundant marine life. The staff, particularly Emilee and the gift store operator, were also incredibly accommodating both before and after our trip. Everything about this business and it's staff, from the value to the adventure itself, exceeded all expectations. As a Floridian ( local, not native), I will take this trip again and would avidly recommend it to anyone visiting our beautiful waters.

Thanks to the crew for taking us on an unforgettable snorkelling tour . Was a bit apprehensive about this but the crew reassured us in a calming tone what to expect. And we weren’t disappointed Would certainly recommend for an unforgettable day underwater .
Weather made this experience a disaster- never got to see the statue I wanted to see and only saw a few fish. Oh well, nothing anyone can do when mother nature doesn’t play nice

Great day on the water. The Silent crew is top notch, takes care of everything to include working with people who are nervous about going snorkeling. Boat is super clean, well stocked with chips, soda and water.
