Each season Hales turgus has its own face; each time it can offer you something special. But be sure that one thing never changes – everything you’ll find here is always made by locals and always made with love. You’ll visit 4 or 5 different places. Begin in the Juice Bar, which has been operating for nine years and is very popular among market visitors. Try a delicious fruit or vegetable cocktail and go straight to “Roots” where you’ll find the largest selection of Lithuanian handcrafted cheese in all country. Keep in mind, that all products are created according to authentic recipes and tastes cherished by Lithuanian farmers.

- Hales market works every Tue-Sat from 7 am to 6 pm and Sun – from 7 am to 3 pm. The tour is not available on Mondays.

A fabulous market for those who want to taste authentic local food - smoked meats, canned meats, pickles, embedded meats and dairy. The back part where there are fresh meats and fish reminds you of images of old Soviet markets. There is an immense selection of restaurants around: Jewish food, bagels, sandwiches, good beers and a safe climate.
Excellent and interesting Tour. Saw and tasted assorted foods. Do yourself a favour and go on this Tour....... Try the foods.
We had great time trying bites of Lithuanian food - cheese, dried meat, honey, pickles, and smoothies. Tomas talked about local customs and culture.

I went to this place with my husband and my daughter of 20 years old Ausra our guide was FANTASTIC and very kind. She answered every question we asked her We tasted different juices then some different meat and vegetables We finished in a shop full of different cheese with some salted baggels We eat around a table and we discussed about many many different things Ausra loves her city and this market It was really interesting and very friendly I recommand it to discover the city of Vilnius
