That this is the real San Antonio. Very informative and knowledgeable tour guide. The missions all had their uniqueness’s. The rivers that flow through San Antonio are all there in their natural state. Don’t miss the film at the world heritage site!
The experience itself is very good. Going to see the missions is very interesting and allows you to see a glimpse into San Antonio’s past. The guide made the experience difficult. He was very knowledgeable about the missions and San Antonio in general. The problem with him was that he talked about 75% too much inserting much irrelevancy all in a monotone. He selected the worst possible places in the direct sun instead of a nearby shady area to have long monologues. When people say they hate history, this type thing is probably what happened to them. It needs to be interactive, lighter, humorous and passionate. Someone that can make it come alive. It was pretty intolerable.
We really enjoyed this tour with our guide Joseph. He was very informative about the missions, the area and San Antonio. We learned so much and enjoyed each of the missions we visited. He answered our questions and knew so much about the history of the area. We highly recommend this tour.
Matt was a great tour guide and gave a lot of information about the missions and the history of the settling of the area. He also showed us other aspects of the area and took his time answering questions for the group.
Matthew was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable.
What a wonderful experience. We were initially unsure what to expect, but this tour surpassed all our expectations. Matt was highly knowledgeable, providing excellent context and patiently answering all our questions. The missions were beautiful and the rich history behind them and Matts expert explainations really made the past come alive. We will definitely recommend this tour to anyone we know headed to San Antonio.
Tour was excellent! Our driver/ guide (Joseph) was excellent; he was knowledgeable, spoke clearly and easy to understand. The amount of time allowed at each stop was just right. Joseph would return to the van and get it running allowing the AC to kick-in as it was a very warm day and he had bottled water for anyone who wanted it. Highly recommend.
Very knowledgeable guide. Easy to understand. Spoke clearly and answered any and all questions. We were given plenty of time to explore.
Our tour guide Joseph was very knowledgeable but way too talkative. We would reach our destination and he would keep us in the van for several minutes some seven 15-20 minutes still talking. We did not feel we were given enough time to explore each site.
This tour was very interesting and thought provoking .. Joseph, our guide, was very knowledgeable of the history and the human aspect of these missions and churches, living conditions and the people who lived there .. my friend and I both commented how much we enjoyed this tour ..thank you to Joseph..
