It is one of the nicest cities in the world in terms of atmosphere and connectedness on the beaches. Nice people and good atmosphere. Nice to cycle along the coast and experience the atmosphere of sports. you can also go running without a T-shirt, so you don't stand out. Many volleyball courts along the coast and also they do a lot of foot volley. High level. If you have the chance you should do a Helicopter flight over Rio. It is really beautiful and the large Jesus Beel cannot and should not be missed.
The bike ride was excellent. We had a short time in Rio & we felt we saw it all ( almost !). Douglas was wonderful!! He was patient, very knowledgeable & funny ! I highly recommend this tour.
Our fantastic guide Ulysses revealed Rio as a diverse and exciting city full of history, and culture. He answered questions about the politics, the people and character of the city. Excellent!
Excellent bike ride along the coast of Rio de Janeiro to the center, Lapa, Gloria, Botafogo and the edge of the lagoon. The guide Ulisses was attentive and maintained a smooth and calm pace. Perhaps the part to improve is the route through Botafogo/ Humaitá to the lagoon where there is no bike path and the traffic is more intense and nervous. The experience is well worth it for anyone who wants to get to know Rio more closely!
The best way to see Rio de Janeiro in one day! Our guide took us to highlights like the beaches and the famous steps but also to the homebases of the big Rio football teams, an impressive old cemetery and good places to eat and have cafezinho. We recommend this tour to everybody, who likes to feel part of this big and beautiful city, cycling along the bike lanes and through the smaller streets.
The best experience we had in Rio. The 7-hour tour with Ulisses was superb and showed us the neighborhoods of the south and downtown as we would hardly have known them using other means of locomotion. We had a series of "extra" requests that he fulfilled perfectly by adapting the route, always in total safety. Great lunch in a typical restaurant. Beautiful day.
Wonderful Bike Tour of Rio We love to take bike tours of the major cities we visit throughout the world. Marco was our guide for an excellent tour of Rio. We biked from 9 AM – 4 PM throughout the entire city and were able to see many of the main attractions (Sugerloaf, beaches, harbors, Christ the Redeemer, Cemetery, downtown buildings, etc.) from different vantage points. Marco was a very personable and really helped us learn about the city that he knows and loves. Great tour! Highly recommend!
We did the Ultimate Rio Tour lasting about 7 hours. It is a tour very suitable for those who are not a trained cyclist because it includes many stops (including lunch) and because it is on a flat path. Our guide was very good and the excursion was really pleasant. We recommend it
Two of us did the full day tour with Ulysses. Bikes were fine - single speed and not for the Tour de France but good for riding around Rio for a a few hours. Most of the route was on cycle track and very flat. The route was interesting and Ulysses was fun and informative.
It was one of the best bike tours I've ever had!!! Rio de Janeiro is gorgeous city with a lot of well prepared bike lanes. Marco showed us around and shared many cool stories. I really enjoyed Ultimate Rio Tour & I'd like to do the tour again.
