Description

Our visit to Serra da Arrábida stands out for its immersive and authentic approach. Rather than simply passing from one point of interest to another, we take the time to savour every moment, admiring the breathtaking beauty of the region. We stop regularly so that you can enjoy the exceptional landscapes, between cliffs, wild beaches and green forests. This experience is enriched by a gastronomic break in a typical restaurant in the fishing village of Sesimbra, where you can taste local specialties, freshly prepared with seafood.

Wonderful trip with large family

We had a wonderful experience with our guide Jean-Remi, who is an experienced guide with My Green Break and leads tours around Portugal. He recently added this tour, and we had a wonderful time. I was traveling with my family of 7, ranging from age 5 to 72 (kids and grandparents), and he was very thoughtful and accommodating to all of us. He added a quick stop at Cristo Rei at our request, then drove us to several beautiful look out spots where we could see Lisbon, Setubal and Sesimbra, and Arrabida Park. The drive was beautiful, and we stopped to take photos at several sites, including a historic fort with nice views. Then we stopped at a beach (the kids’ favorite part) and enjoyed a drink and the view (too cold to swim when we were there), and a cave with a small chapel inside. There was a bit of a walk along a trail/ some steps to get to the cave, but kids and I able to make it without difficulty. We then stopped for a fantastic lunch in Sesimbra, did a bit of shopping afterwards, and stopped by Cabo Espichel on the way back to Lisbon. Overall a full and beautiful day, and Jean-Remi was engaging and attentive. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to explore the natural beauty of Arrabida with an experienced guide!
