You will start in front of the First Courtyard of Prague Castle. The first courtyard of Prague Castle is one of the four courtyards of Prague Castle. It has the form of an honorary court and forms the ceremonial western entrance from Hradčanské náměstí (Castle District marketplace) to the Castle.
The guide will lead you to the Second Courtyard of Prague Castle. The courtyard acquired its present appearance under the reign of Maria Theresa of the House of Habsburg after the middle of the18th century. Here you can find the Prague Castle Picture Gallery, Chapel of the Holy Cross, Imperial Stables and the Office of the President of the Czech Republic.
Third courtyard of Prague Castle. It is the oldest part of the castle. The dominant feature of the courtyard is the Cathedral of St. Vitus, Wenceslas and Adalbert.The interiors of the Cathedral you will visit with a guide.
The Old Royal Palace served as the seat of Czech princes and kings from the 10th to the 16th century. The interiors of The Old Royal Palace you will visit with your guide.
The Basilica of St. George at Prague Castle is one of the oldest Czech churches and burial grounds of the Premyslids (the first ruling dynasty of Bohemia), were the first Czech monastery of St. George was founded.Its interiors you will visit with your guide.
The Golden Lane at Prague Castle is the part of its northern fortifications. The houses built into the niches of the wall built from the end of the 16th century. At present, there are galleries, gift shops and exhibitions.

Unfortunately, to visit the interiors, all guides and their tourists have to stand in a common line. There is no special entrance for guides. Fortunately, the line moves quickly enough. We will do our best to make sure you don't get bored in line. Our guides will tell you interesting facts and legends that you will not find in guidebooks or answer your questions.

We actually started at the Castle. Might change this. Again, a wonderful tour!

This was a wonderful small group tour! There were only six of us and it was full of so much interesting history. Our guide knew so much history and moved us around at such a relaxing pace and always found a perfect space in the shade to tell us about everything in the castle complex. This tour was worth every penny and then some!!! We hiked up the many stairs to meet her, but you can also take tram 22 to get close to the top of the castle district. It is magical up there!

Marta was a knowledgeable and thoughtful guide. When the main gift shop was out of water to purchase, she made sure she found us alternative places to grab a water to stay hydrated. Great way to learn about the history of the castle grounds and Prague.
