Traveling by air-conditioned vehicle, you'll drive through Provence's idyllic countryside to the charming city of Aix. Stroll along the fountain-studded Cours Mirabeau boulevard; discover traditional squares and markets. Then, enjoy a panoramic tour of top Marseille attractions including the Basilica of Notre Dame and 11th-century Abbey of St Victor on the edge of the picturesque Old Port, before returning to your ship.

Pickup Locations & Times
Please wait your tour guide at the exit of the ship/cruise terminal, do not start to walk in the port area. The tour departs from the pier shoreside. Once you disembark, whether there is a terminal building or not, your local tour guide will be waiting at the exit with a sign with your last name. The local tour guide will greet you and walk you to the transportation. This is important not to follow the green line on the floor. Please Note: It is important that you refrain from strolling about the harbor area and just go to the meeting location.

- At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time
- If your ship has to leave at 4pm or earlier the departure time of the tour might need to be amended. You will be emailed by the local supplier to inform you of any changes if necessary
- May be operated by a multi-lingual guide.
- Please wait at the exit of the ship/cruise terminal, do not start to walk on the port area.
- Children under 4 years old are not allowed on tours
- Please note that the order of visits and the stops at the sites may change depending on operational conditions
- We cannot be held responsible if the cruise ship company cancel the stop over at the port, less than 24 hours the tour departure. No refund can be claimed.

Our guide, Pepe, clearly loves his hometown and showed us many reasons why! Although we had to miss what was the prettiest part of the coastal Marseille (because of a Sunday marathon), we saw the cathedral and the harbor and the oldest church. Our tour next took us to Aix en Provence, which is so charming with its postcard-perfect cobbled streets, fountains and cafes. Pepe gave us tips and let us explore on our own for over two hours. This was a fantastic day’s excursion from the port of Marseiile.

Pepe had our attention upon first meeting at the cruise port in Marseille and he kept it enthusiastically throughout the day as he whisked us around Marseille and the entrance of Provence’s stunning jewel Aix-en-Provence. For the history buff there was plenty to captivate and for those who preferred to take in the sights…they certainly didn’t disappoint. This tour was amazing from start to finish. Highly recommend Pepe’s attention to detail!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this trip, and would definitely recommend it. The time in Aix was a bit too long though.

We got lucky and ended up with a private tour for 2! Our guide was very nice, but we would have liked more information about the sights that we were seeing. She shared much about local culture, but it would have been nice to have had more details about the actual sights (inside).
