A Wonderful First Taste of Montenegro

This was a fantastic day from pick-up to drop-off! Our guide, Petar, was absolutely first-rate. He provided just the right amount of color as we passed by different points of interest and was super communicative on WhatsApp whenever we had questions during our two hours in each of Kotor and Budva (in addition to the quick jaunt in adorable Perast). We were blown away by the beauty of Kotor and appreciated the recommendation from Petar for the spot to find the best Montenegrin Cream Cake (Kremšnita) - it was delicious! Budva was very pretty and we probably should have taken advantage of the beaches there - but instead we found a great pizza spot with even better air conditioning! The drive around the Bay is a bucket list experience! All in all, a great, full, day!

Lovely trip

We had such a lovely day out. Stunning scenery all the way! The early start was worth it to ‘sail’ through the borders so quickly and arrive in Perast before it got busy In my opinion the Bay of Kotor is at its best first thing. So peaceful - and so beautiful! Our transport was very comfortable, seating just 8 people, and our driver/guide Darko was great, telling us about the areas as we drove through them and well as being very courteous. We also need to mention the lovely Lorena who organised the trip and who we messed about a bit at the start trying to decide about the trip but she stayed smiling! We all felt that the trip represented great value for money Our only small criticism would be that we would have liked a little longer in each place as they were just so interesting!

Guide was great. I went...

Guide was great. I went into this knowing it would be a long travel day. Guide gave us ample time at each stop and got us through the borders quickly. If you’re at all heat / sun sensitive, reconsider. The heat was unbearable (UV index of 8) - even with hats, sunglasses, linen covering everything it was tough to constantly walk / be outside. I wish we were taken to more spots indoors with AC. In Budva, we found a nice hotel with proper AC and cafe inside - spots like that or a museum with AC is more appropriate for such a dangerously hot day. Wish tour companies would adjust itineraries when it’s this hot.

Great day exploring Montenegro

Petar was a great driver. He had lots of information about all the stops - Perast, Kotor and Bǔdva. He also shed stories about life in Croatia. He was a very safe driver. He gave us easily understood directions of where we should go in each town so that we could maximise the time we had. Swimming in the Adriatic (Bǔdva) was a highlight. Petar navigated the border crossings extremely well. There was a hold up going back into Croatia (no idea why - just happened) so he deftly took another route which saved us more than an hour. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Leave the Driving to Somoene Else!

Our guide Ivo was great. He made the drive seem short with all his stories and interesting facts. The stops on the tour were packed with tourists but still beautiful. I'm really glad we decided to take this tour instead of trying to drive in Montenegro ourselves. Overall, I highly recommend it.

Excellent day trip to Montenegro with Petar

I had a fantastic day trip from Dubrovnik to Montenegro. Everything was very well organized from start to finish. The group was small, which made the experience much more comfortable and enjoyable than traveling on a large coach. The bus was clean and air-conditioned, and the schedule was perfectly managed throughout the day. I never felt rushed, yet had enough time to explore and enjoy each stop. A special thank you to the guide Petar who was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He shared many interesting stories and facts along the way, kept everyone informed, and made sure everything ran smoothly. His positive attitude and great sense of humor made the trip even more enjoyable. Kotor and Budva were absolutely beautiful, and this tour was one of the highlights of my stay in Dubrovnik. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Montenegro in a comfortable and stress-free way. Thank you, Petar, for a wonderful day! ☺️

We had an absolutely...

We had an absolutely fantastic time exploring Montenegro on this tour! Having it be a small group was so much better than a big bus and having our guide Darko lead us the entire way made the experience go from 10/10 to 1000/10! He was so nice, knowledgeable, and did everything he could to ensure we had a great trip from taking our pictures and showing us secret spots for views of the bay to making sure he was constantly checking the border to plan the best and fastest route for us! He was truly excellent, to the company that puts on this tour, please know Darko was AMAZING, given him a raise - he is the best part of this tour by far!!
