Our tour guide, Milo, was exceptionally friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Throughout the trip, he shared a wealth of information about Yellowstone National Park, Salt Lake City, and the historical background of the various attractions we visited, which made the experience much more enjoyable and meaningful. Milo is also an excellent driver. He drove smoothly and safely, making the entire journey very comfortable. His time management was outstanding—our itinerary was well organized and never felt rushed or overly packed. He ensured that we had plenty of time at each attraction to fully appreciate the scenery and enjoy the experience at our own pace. In addition, Milo was very patient and attentive when handling hotel check-ins and other travel arrangements. He managed every detail efficiently and accurately, which made the trip stress-free and enjoyable for everyone. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Milo and this tour company, and I would gladly choose their travel services again in the future.
Thank you very much for your feedback! We are so happy to hear you enjoyed the service we've provided! We look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit!
It is a good opportunity to see a gorgeous landscape and its many features. The tour covered several interesting hydrothermal features of Yellowstone, which was great. However, if you are someone who likes watching wildlife, I would not recommend this tour for you. We did not slow down for wildlife that we spotted, including rare animals that Yellowstone is famous for. When tourists spotted something and wanted to slow down to check, requests to do so were ignored by the guide. While I understand the need to manage time, the lack of balance leaves anyone wanting to watch nature and wildlife a bit frustrated, especially when you have travelled all the way there.
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the stunning landscapes and the hydrothermal features of Yellowstone – that is certainly something we take pride in offering. However, we are truly sorry to learn that the tour did not meet your expectations when it came to wildlife viewing. Yellowstone is indeed world-famous for its rare and diverse wildlife, and we completely understand how frustrating it must have been to have requests to slow down or observe animals more closely ignored by the guide. While we do emphasize schedule management to ensure all planned stops and activities are covered, we acknowledge that there needs to be a better balance – especially for guests who have traveled a long distance specifically to experience the natural beauty and wildlife of the park. Please be assured that we will address this issue with our guide team. We will reinforce the importance of being attentive to guests’ interests and making reasonable accommodations for wildlife sightings whenever possible, without compromising safety or the overall itinerary. We truly appreciate your honest feedback, as it helps us improve. We hope you will give us another opportunity in the future to provide a more balanced and enjoyable Yellowstone experience. Thank you again for choosing us, and we wish you all the best in your future travels.
I recently completed the “Small Group In-Depth Yellowstone and Grand Teton w/2NightCabins” tour. The visits to Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park were absolutely worth the trip. The tour overall was not worth the expense. The guided portion of the trip was where the downfall occurred. The guide was primarily a driver rather than a knowledgeable guide. He mostly transported the group between prescribed points of interest with very limited educational insight. I was expecting more comfort and indepth communication from a tour labeled as “Small Group In-Depth”. There were 13 people packed into a van designed with four bench seats, comfort was lacking. We were seated shoulder to shoulder throughout the trip. Therer were also some challenges to understand the driver, as his English was not sufficient to answer some questions. He would also seem to ad-lib when he didn't know answers. Additionally, at most stops the driver simply dropped us off and waited in the van. We frequently observed other tour guides walking with their groups, providing context, history, and detailed insights about what they were seeing. Lunches also felt rushed and one stop was at a McDonald’s. This did not align with the tour experience that was advertised. One positive aspect was the cabin accommodations. The cabins were relatively new, clean, comfortable, and equipped with modern amenities, which added a nice touch to the trip. Overall, while the parks themselves are incredible and absolutely worth visiting, I would not recommend this tour to travelers seeking detailed insights, active guiding, or a comfortable small-group experience. In hindsight, it would likely be better to rent a car and follow the same itinerary independently.
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry the tour did not meet your expectations. For context, our vehicle was a 15-passenger high-roof van. Tour guide have you sit in the front row for easier access. Tour guide tried his best to answer all of your questiones, and provide introductions to each stop in advance. We apologize if our guiding style was not what you expected. We appreciate your honesty and will continue to improve.
Tour did cover the itinerary mentioned and tour guide Jiang was helpful making a genuine effort to make us comfortable. Hotels booked for stay were good too. Yellowstone national park is of course worth a visit. But this is where the positives about this tour end. Viator mentions this as a tour with English speaking tour guide. But our guide was barely able to communicate in English. Tour is very rushed with no stops planned for lunch or coffee. Tour guide's idea of lunch was a brief stop at a gas station. The van used was very cramped for 12 people. So if you are looking for a small group tour in a comfortable vehicle and English speaking tour guide, this is certainly not for you.
Thank you for sharing detailed feedback about your recent tour to Yellowstone National Park. We appreciate your acknowledgment of Tour Guide Jiang’s genuine efforts and our well-selected hotels. However, we deeply apologize for the shortcomings you experienced. Our guides could communicate fluently in English. However, we are aware that guides may not speak English as naturally and fluently as native speakers, which may cause some inconvenience to some guests. We take every visitor's feedback very seriously and deeply regret any negative experience this may have caused. We will address this with the guides and ensure better language proficiency standards are met in the future. We want each visitor to have the most comprehensive and profound experience possible in the limited time available, so guides need to schedule tours at set times, which can make you feel a little rushed. Please understand that this arrangement is based on our years of experience: we strive to ensure that visitors do not miss out on any worthwhile stops through reasonable planning. To further improve the quality of service, we will sincerely consider your comments and adjust and improve our itineraries in the future to better meet the needs of different tourists. The vehicles we use are all professional transportation (The type of vehicle used depends on the number of guests attending on the day). We will continue to improve vehicle configurations to ensure that all vehicles meet the highest standards in terms of comfort and functionality to prioritize guest comfort on extended routes. Your satisfaction is paramount to us, and we hope to welcome you back for the elevated experience you deserve.
This was indeed an excellent tour with James as the tour guide/operator. I was worried that it would be a very rushed tour but the experience was very good and not very rushed. (Except for lunch on day 2 but such small things are totally okay) We had ample time to see all the things and the weather was splendid. Hotels were decent as well. James was very friendly and helpful.
Thank you very much for your feedback! We are so happy to hear you enjoyed the service we've provided! We look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit!
Great job by my guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Nice comfortable transportation. My wife and my friends really enjoyed this trip. James did a fantastic job of talking care of us and showing us all the attractions
Thank you very much for your feedback! We are so happy to hear you enjoyed the service we've provided! We look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit!
Love the tour guide James, showed us a lot of great stuff, but hidden fees I was unaware of, I knew about $100/each for park passes, but the service charged $15/day for four days came from no where, I told James first day when we stayed in hotel why you are charging service fee, he told me he called us, Please let the customer knows ahead of time before they book the tour about hidden charges, I will not give you a good review, please be truthful about your extra charges.
Thank you for sharing your feedback about your recent tour experience. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your time with Tour Guide James and appreciated his efforts to showcase the best of the tour. Regarding your concern about the service fee, we sincerely apologize for any confusion or frustration this may have caused. We strive to be fully transparent about all costs associated with our tours. The service fee of $15 per day, along with other mandatory fees (including the $100 park passes), is clearly outlined in the tour’s product description and terms prior to booking. We understand that unexpected charges can be frustrating, and we regret if this information was not communicated clearly enough during the booking process or by our team. Your feedback is invaluable, and we will take steps to ensure all fees are highlighted more prominently to avoid similar situations in the future. If you have any further questions or need clarification about the fees, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We truly appreciate your time in bringing this to our attention and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you on another tour with improved transparency.
