Our guide will come to your hotel in the Old Quarter to pick you up. A short briefing before we start.
On a 3 hours walking tour, you’ll explore the culture and history of Hanoi as you step into a world full of street food vendors. Unlike big cities all around the world, street food in Hanoi are not just hot dog carts and pretzel stands, we offer an opportunity to try out many different dishes at local food stand as well as local family restaurants. A rotating menu from day-to-day to represent the variety of delicious options, but tastings might include, but are subject to change: rice noodle soup with beef, rice noodle with chicken, rice noodle with grilled pork, snail, or dry noodle, sticky rice, along with various kinds of donut, steamed pancake or Vietnamese sandwiches.

We had great street food tour with Dominic who was fun and super knowledgeable about all things foodie in Hanoi! My teenage children and I loved the range of places we visited, but particular favourites were the bun ca (fried fish noodles), bun cha (bbq pork noodles) and the chocolate roti (which we went back to the next day. We would never have found those places alone, and he also gave loads of additional recommendations for Hanoi and beyond. Highly recommended!

I would thoroughly recommend this food tour. Bob our guide showed a genuine interest in the type of food we were keen to try and then tailored the tour accordingly. He was very knowledgable and gave us both context and history throughout the tour explaining points of interest as well as aspects of Vietnamese lifestyle. The follow-up information from Bob also had a number of other places for us to try different dishes. If you are in Hanoi do yourself a favour and go on this food tour.
