Small-Group Half-Day Tour of Rummu and Coastal Cliffs

Description
Join this half-day tour that takes you to off-the-beaten-path sights and hiking tracks. Discover both the history and the nature of Estonia, all in one tour. Visit an abandoned naval fortress which is now tucked away in the forest, where it is still possible to explore the dark underground tunnels and walk past concrete structures. Continue the tour to Keila waterfall in a peaceful manor park with charming bridges and walking paths. Drive through the Russian-speaking city of Paldiski and get a feel of its industrial Soviet-era neighborhoods. Take a break at a local cafe where you can order Estonian food for lunch. Continue the tour to Pakri coastal cliffs and see the red lighthouse looking over the vast Baltic Sea. As the last stop on the tour, drive to Rummu submerged quarry, climb up the sandy hills for a view over the entire crystal clear lake and the submerged houses.

We had such a wonderful day out with Diana. The sights were beautiful and it was great to see a little more of Estonia, Diana had so much knowledge to share and was so engaging, really great conversation all day. The cafe we stopped at for lunch was also lovely, with really delicious home cooked food. A must do for any trip to Tallinn.
Fabulous way to explore Estonia’s history & coastline. The Rummu quarry abandoned prison was interesting & the coastline is beautiful & windy! The stop for lunch was at a local cafe with good home cooked food & wonderful cakes. There were only 2 of us on the tour so Stassi changed the itinerary to go to Arvo Pärt Centre, which she didn’t have to do but it made the trip really personal.
Helen was a very friendly, knowledgeable guide that taught us so much about the places we visited. Lunch was an unexpected, delightful experience. The quarry is beautiful and unique. Great way to see this part of Estonia.
We liked the tour very much, that was mainly due to our guide Tönis. The nature was unique and that everything was in perfect German, of course a plus on top.
Enjoyed the trip and learning more about Estonia from our guide. The sites we visited were nice especially the quarry.
A great tour of the surrounds of Tallin, Jorge’s knowledge was extensive, he was wonderfully polite and engaging and he would be great for all ages
An amazing tour that lets you explore key attractions located not too far from Tallinn. Pick up was on time, our tour guide was very knowledgable and friendly and itinerary was perfect for a half day tour.
What an incredible experience! Our guide, Tony, was wonderful. My husband and I ended up having the tour to ourselves (a chilly and rainy day in Tallin) and we couldn’t have had a better time. Tony shared so much with us about the history of Estonia and his passion for nature and the outdoors. My husband and I had the best time visiting the unique sights and seeing the gorgeous landscapes. We love nature, too! Couldn’t recommend this tour enough and we cannot wait to plan another visit to Estonia. Thank you for everything!!
Absolutely wonderful tour with Anu. She is very knowledgeable about Estonia and takes you to all the cool and photographic places around Talinn. Highly recommended!!
Personalised experience. Very informative and knowledgeable guide. We saw many of Estonia’s hidden gems. Highly recommend if you visit Tallinn to get out and see more of Estonia.
