This is an adventure good for those looking to enjoy nature and a unique rainforest experience. This experience is focused on providing a true local view of El Yunque, with historical facts and information about the ecosystem along the trip. Transportation is included and we pick you up anywhere in the San Juan Area.

We visit the Eastside of El Yunque Rainforest. Our adventure starts with a 30 minute hike (the path can be muddy) to the first mineral water, natural water pool. There you can enjoy the landscape, swim in the water and live in nature. Along the way you will learn of the bio diverse ecosystem of the rainforest, touch bamboo, unique flora, guava trees and 300 year old trees. Further up after a 15 minute hike, a little rocky there is another watering hole with natural waterfalls. NOTE : Saturday tour take a different route and require participants to be in good physical condition. This route is great for people in shape ready for a more steep and muddy adventure. If this is not for you, we encourage to book with us on any other day of the week. We are featured in Kayak Travel guide for San Juan.

Pickup Locations & Times
We can pick you up from any place in San Juan area, and the selected areas on the road from San Juan to El Yunque : Carolina, Rio Grande, Luquillo. Note 1 : The pick ups START at least 90 minutes before the started time booked, (Especially when the season is busy, in order to beat the traffic the tour guide will let you know the exact pick up time the day before). Makes sure to acknowledge that before booking !!! Note 2 : We don't do pick up in Dorado, Humacao or Bayamon ... but you can meet us in San Juan, or directly in El yunque , and we take you from there. Please note : We don't accept infants less than 2 years old !

This was a great day! Totally enjoyed the hike, rope swing, waterslide and cliff jump! Our guide Patricia was very knowledgable and provided a very complete experience. I highly recommend this excursion!
PAUL WAS THE BEST! I never did anything like this a day before in my life and Paul made it the best. He was funny and patient when I was scared to jump. 10000/10!

Visiting El Yunque Rainforest was an unforgettable experience! The lush greenery, and scenic hiking trails made it feel like stepping into another world. The waterslide and plunge was also a great experience!
This was perfect for our group of 7 with age ranges from 4-70. Moderate type of hike but very doable. Great experience with the waterfall, learning about native plants, cliff jumping and water time. Alex and Taina were absolutely amazing and so accommodating to our family and kids. Taina even went down the slide with one of our kids! Great experience!
Take the earliest time slot. You’ll get more time to experience the quiet and beauty before the other groups roll in. Make sure you bring secure shoes/sandals. And a water cover for your phone. Our guide Paul is absolutely the best, gave us so much information and very fun to be around. Great energy!
Awesome tour guide Patricia. The hike was smooth as long as you listened to instructions. Hate we didn't get to get muddy though. Only hiccup was not being able to get pickup at front door but other than that 10s across the board. Thank you.
We had a great time. Patricia is a fun and professional guide. The rainforest is beautiful, and the water very refreshing. We had nice weather with minimal mud on the trail. The hike is not difficult, the technical part is around the falls and the rocks are very slippery, but with Patricias instruction it is safe and easy. Wear shoes that you will swim with.
