Very interesting full day. Peles Castle (booked on line in advance. It sells out quicky) Beautiful castle and worth the visit. Brasov town was nice. Dracula's castle. It's quite the climb to the castle on a long ramp. Lots of stairs in the castle. We booked tickets on line and did the Royal fast pass, including the torture exhibit and time tunnel. You get a free photo at the end of the time tunnel and you don't have to go down the long ramp. Bonus! Matthew was our guide and he was excellent. Knowledgeable and personable. The driver that we had drove fast.
The trip was beautiful but a very long day even if there were no blocks. Invasion Palace is a charming place and worth visiting. On Bern Castle, I think you can give up and drive straight to Barzou so you can have lunch and walk around without running from place to place.
We booked this tour because the description stated the van had air conditioning. The air conditioning did not work the entire time, this made the many hours spent in the van miserable. The locations we visited were beautiful and I highly recommend them, but I would not book with this company during the summer months.
We are very sorry that the air conditioning stopped working during your tour and understand how uncomfortable this must have been on a hot summer day. All of our vehicles are equipped with air conditioning. Unfortunately, this was an unexpected technical issue that affected A SINGLE VEHICLE FOR JUST ONE DAY —the only such incident we have experienced in recent years. While this does not excuse the inconvenience, we hope it reassures future travelers that this was an exceptional situation rather than our usual standard. We are glad you enjoyed the beautiful places visited and sincerely apologize that this unexpected issue affected your experience.
We have just returned from this all day tour and can only give it 5 star ..Tour guide Serban was fantastic , great character, and made the trip very enjoyable and fun. Driver always on time and smooth journey all the way. We Thank you for this memorable day.
The trip to the castles was an absolute must-do experience, and our guide made it truly unforgettable. He was punctual, knowledgeable, helpful, and went above and beyond at every opportunity to ensure we had a fantastic day. It was clear that he genuinely cared about our experience, and his great sense of humour made the journey even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. From start to finish, everything was handled with exceptional comfort and professionalism.
Van's AC did not work, so the 5 hour drive was hot, I thought it was a tour, it was not it was transportation with a short talk along the way. Basically, 'we are at the castle, the entrance is that way, be back in an hour'. Not worth it, go with someone else.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sincerely sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. Regarding the air conditioning, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, the air conditioning system broke down at the beginning of the tour on Sunday. Please note that all of our vehicles are equipped with air conditioning, and this was an unexpected technical issue. We would also like to clarify that our guides provide extensive information throughout the journey, covering a wide range of topics related to Romania, including the history of the castles, the Romanian Royal Family, local traditions, and the legends surrounding the Dracula myth. Our goal is to ensure that guests gain a deeper understanding of the places they visit, both during the drive and at each stop. As described in our tour itinerary, our guides do not accompany guests inside the castles. Instead, they provide detailed historical context and explanations before each visit, allowing guests to explore at their own pace. At Peleș Castle in particular, visitors can find extensive information displayed in multiple languages throughout the various rooms and exhibits. We regret that the tour did not match your expectations and appreciate your comments, as they help us improve our services. Thank you again for your feedback.
So much communication and information given. Good tour and would recommend. Just remember it is a long day!
