Guatemalan cooking class in Antigua Guatemala

Today we went to a cooking class. We booked this through a la Carta tours in Antigua Guatemala. The company is Foodietenango, guatemala. This is an excellent class. They taught us how to make guacamole, roasted Salsa, Chicken pepian and a dessert made with mashed plantains and stuffed with chocolate, beans and deep fried. All the recipes were from his mom and grandma. They cooked for us at his home. This was by far the best cooking class we've done. They picked us up at the hotel and we took a tuk tuk back.

A delicious experience! Provided us with a great translator although we speak a fair amount of traveller's Spanish. Very professional. We could not have asked for more.
