Nice tour & guide is good , but he should give more time to palm cove to relax & enjoy , dinner is awsome with proper management
Overall the evening was very nice, boat was well set up and the food was nice, a very pleasant evening. There was a musician that sang most of the evening, she was quite good and was never overly loud. It however started with a phone call from the operator wanting to know where we where? We were waiting at the place where we were advised to wait! As it turned out we were supposed to be boarded already. luckily we were not late but we were the last on. With many different agents using the one operator miscommunications happen. Most of the time we would get a text confirming arrival time and place from the operator but this never happened. I would definitely recommend this dinner cruise.
What a lovely way to start our short stay in FNQ. The afternoon city tour was an absolute delight, our Coach Driver Chris had so much information to share about the places we visited. St Monicas Church had the most amazing stained glass windows and from memory I believe there are 1040 painted panels. Stunning! We visited the museum and found many things of interest to see. Stopped for a delicious afternoon tea of scones and drinks of choice. We then visited the Botanical Gardens and many thanks must be given to Chris our Coach Driver who took us on a walk through the Botanical Gardens pointing out many things of interest and highlighted the most beautiful flowering plants. We went to Alexanders lookout and Palm Cove, beautiful sights to see. We were taken to the Reef Fleet Terminal were it was time to say farewell to Chris and board the Spirit of Cairns for the dinner cruise. The dinner cruise was top quality from the time we boarded until we left 3 hours later. Staff and food on this dinner cruise were excellent. What a lovely day and once again many thanks to Chris.
Excellent. Value for money. Guide Chris is a great source of knowledge about Cairns, the stunningly beautiful stained glass windows, FNQ history and industries and tropical plants. The dinner aboard the cruising catamaran was delicious.
We did the Small Group Afternoon Cairns City Tour. Chris was our driver and guide. He was excellent. Professional and always courteous and entertaining. He had a wealth of knowledge about Cairns, down to the smallest detail, including its history. We were particularly impressed with his plant knowledge at the botanical gardens.
Thank you so much for joining our Cairns City sights & Surrounds afternoon tour and for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the tour with Chris — he truly is a gem in our team. His passion for Cairns, its history, and especially the botanical gardens always shines through. We’ll be sure to pass on your kind words to him. Regards Maryanne
We had a wonderful night enjoying delicious food, meeting new people and relaxing as we cruised. It was a wonderful way for us to start our Cairns holiday.
We had a wonderful time seeing the sights of Cairns, & learning the history of the town. Graeme did a fabulous job, and we loved all the other members of our group. We would recommend this tour to everyone. The dinner cruise was great, & the buffet was delicious. We had such great service.
Great trip. Boat ride to island was easy and calm. Staff were friendly and competent. First time I had snorkelled but I had a ball. Saw so many fish and coral so close to the shore. Great spot for kids too as they can play on the beach. Lunch excellent. Submersible boat experience too. Perfect for me to practise snorkeling. Diving also catered for.
Great cruise, the best food in a dinner cruise. Very good package! Staff very nice and helpfull since beginning of the cruise to the end. I would recommend this cruise.
Chris was a terrific tour guide. He picked us up on time, introduced himself and told us so many interesting facts about Cairns and its history. Our tour went to so many places, we even saw wallabys on the side of the road. Despite the rainy weather, he kept the mood upbeat and positive. Thanks so much!
