The tour guide was incredibly kind and professional, with a great sense of humor. My family and I were the only ones on the tour, and the fact that it still went on as scheduled, rather than being canceled, meant a lot to us. That level of consideration is truly appreciated and not something you see every day. Highly recommended!
Thank you so much for the kind and thoughtful review. We’re really glad the tour meant so much to you and your family. Even when it’s a small group, we do our best to honor our commitments and make the experience special, so it’s wonderful to hear that was appreciated. Thank you again for the recommendation, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime.
I was surprised how comfortable I felt on what turned out to be a very pristinely cleaned and new bus. My kids loved the double-decker upper seating and the experience was a five out of five! Snacks and treats galore. Great narration with history I did not know about nor would I know where to look for it. I was pretty excited that along the way many of the restaurants offered discounts, some up to 50% for showing my ticket. The grand America hotel was a new discovery for all of us as well. I had no idea they have a little holiday walking tour there with a beautiful courtyard. Overall the road was about an hour and a half and we had two stops where we could go in and enjoy chocolate samples for free with a famous chocolate shop. It was very comfortable to have kids on board with all their energy and everything. The environment was very laid-back but also engaging with a steady narration along the entire ride.
Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear you and your kids enjoyed the comfort of the bus, the narration, and of course the treats — we love making the experience special for families. The restaurant discounts are always a fun bonus, and The Grand America holiday courtyard is a gem many visitors discover for the first time on our tour. For anyone reading this, our Christmas Lights Tour runs nightly through December 31, and it’s a cozy, easy way to enjoy the city’s holiday displays without worrying about traffic or parking. We hope to welcome you and your family aboard again soon!
The tour guide gave a complete and informative overview of the sites of Salt Lake City. The views from The pioneer center at night are amazing, we were able to get off the bus and take some pictures of the city! I would recommend it to anyone visiting Salt Lake City.
Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the tour and found the overview of Salt Lake City informative. The views from The Pioneer Center at night really are something special—we’re happy you got to capture some great photos! We appreciate your recommendation and hope to see you again soon.
Tour operator cancelled the tour 1.5 hours before the excursion. I travel extensively and have never had this occur. Very unfortunate as I was looking forward to touring the city. Had I known with earlier notice, I would have booked something else or changed my travel plans.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and I’m truly sorry for the short-notice cancellation. We understand how disappointing that must have been, especially when you were looking forward to seeing the city. We only cancel when it’s absolutely necessary—typically due to unforeseen operational issues or staffing emergencies—and we always try to notify guests as early as possible. Your feedback is valid, and we’re reviewing our processes to ensure communication happens sooner whenever possible. We hope you’ll consider giving us another chance on your next visit to Salt Lake City so we can provide the full experience you were expecting.

Go before dark to see better. City was lit up and beautiful but could not see some things very clear. Also slow tour down a little.
Thank you for the great feedback! We’re so glad you enjoyed the night views of the city. You’re absolutely right — as the days get shorter, it can get a little too dark to see some of the landmarks clearly. We’ve just moved our departure time 30 minutes earlier to make sure guests can enjoy both the sunset and the city lights in the best possible way. We appreciate your helpful suggestion and hope to welcome you aboard again soon!
The bus tour was amazing! The open top let me see the city entirely which was beautiful! The bus had heaters by the feet so you were at a comfortable temperature during the fall days. The price was absolutely reasonable for the hour or more of the tour! The driver was so very informative while keeping it interesting and engaging. By the end of the tour, i was ready to move to Salt Lake! 10/10 would tell anyone wanting to see the city to go on this tour. Its a stunning, low pressure way to take in the city and a wonderful way to get recommendations on where else to go!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the open-top views and stayed cozy! Fall really is a beautiful time to explore Salt Lake City. We’re glad our driver made the experience both informative and fun! We truly appreciate your kind words and recommendation — hope to welcome you aboard again soon!
Great overview of Salt Lake City. Mormon history was part of the tour but not the entire tour, which I appreciated. We did the evening tour, which was not hop-on-hop-off and it was great! Sound system was clear and seats were comfy. I would suggest getting a seat on the right-hand side of the bus, bc a few more sites seemed to be on that side.
Thank you for your kind review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the evening tour and appreciated the balance of history and variety. Happy to hear the sound was clear and the seats were comfortable—it’s great advice about the right-hand side for views! We hope to welcome you aboard again to explore even more of Salt Lake City.
This was a great very informative tour. Great sights to see, especially the This is the Place Heritage Park .
I had a very nice time. The driver was knowledgeable about the city and its history. It was very nice.
Thank you so much for your kind review! We're thrilled to hear you had a great time and enjoyed learning about the city's history from our driver. We hope to welcome you aboard again soon for another ride through Salt Lake City!
