Description
Sky Walk offers you a peaceful introduction to exploring Monteverde Cloud Forest on a 2.5km (1.5mi) circuit trail that snakes through distinct levels of the wonderfully diverse ecosystem. You will hike deep into these magical tropical forests to admire nature from a distinct perspective. Crossing hanging bridges with complete views of the forest canopy, and from the forest floor on well-maintained. Trails includes some uneven surfaces and several ascents and descents. Sky Walk hanging bridges not only have impressive views, they are also impressive by themselves, with distances up to 236m (774ft) and heights up to 70m (230ft). Trails and hanging bridges are designed and maintained to cause the lowest impact to nature, trying always to keep the forest intact for everything living in it. Sky Walk hanging bridges are perfect to appreciate Costa Rica’s magnificent and world recognized biodiversity by walking and admiring nature from different perspectives.

The tour gives you the opportunity to enjoy the flora and fauna of the area, always joined by one of our specialized guides. The tour lasts between 1.5 and 2 hours. Sky Walk reunites all the conditions of security and confidence. The bridges have been adapted even for people with some disability.

I did a tour with Carolina and she was fantastic! She was super knowledgeable, and stayed calm when we came across a monkey that was being very vocal lol. The landscape was so beautiful! I'm so glad I decided to take this tour.

The walk began with our guide, Jason who was very thorough in locating and identifying multiple birds and insects. The pace allowed excellent viewing but wasn’t boring. Upon completion of the guided walk we spent additional time exploring on our own- it was excellent
We felt it was a wasted experience. The guides were disinterested and did not even bother showing any of the flora and fauna. In fact we were told that the telescope was broken- so they could not focus with the scope- and show any of the diverse fauna. All guides in other tours had this. If you do indeed choose this tour- please do not bother with a guide (total waste of money)
Exceptional! Monte verde area is exceptional. The people are very friendly. Highly recommend it!!!!!
The weather was nice and Roberto our tour guide educated us about the healing properties of some plants found in the cloud forest. We saw lots of miniature orchids that are only found in the cloud forest. We also saw a viper snake, a tarantula and lots of birds. The temperature of the cloud forest was very nice and refreshing. I would recommend a guided tour to learn about the forest.

Beautiful walk above the trees. Very cool to walk across the huge hanging bridges. The drive to get there was a drive.. climbing up the mountain and the scenery was beautiful. We loved the walk on the bridges. We did Not see any wildlife tho. Guess it’s not our lucky day.

It was a fascinating tour of the rainforest canopy. It was raining quite hard when we went on our tour so we didn't see much wildlife. The bridges are cool and give a very different perspective on the cloud forest.

Our guide was knowledgeable about plants and trees and the weather was great but there was no wildlife to be seen only saw one bird flying overhead. The tour only lasted about one hour.
