My visit went very pleasant and interesting. No problem at all with the registration process. A few days before the visit, I received an email with the QR code needed for entry. The rangers were very helpful on site.
Excellent experience from start to finish! The view from the top was superb! Made the walk to the Mall Grounds look easy. But the walk was a real slog in the heat:-(.
Excellent experience from start to finish!
I have been to DC and seen the outside of the Washington Monument many times. This time my family bought tickets to go into the monument. I bought them through a third party vendor. I had difficulty accessing my tickets. The staff was very helpful in helping me to get them and pleasant and patient to work with me because there were other people waiting. The view of DC from the monument was awesome 😎 .
It was easy and convenient and we over the monument tour. Check the messages portion of the app for your tickets. I kept getting vouchers and the link saying my tickets were here took me to the voucher, and I went to message the company about my tickets and there they were in the inbox.
Got to the visitor center, they said tickets were already used. Company didn’t respond to issue as of time of review (48 hours later).
This was a terrible experience. We bought tickets for a 9:30 tour the next day. We received an email with a barcode, but the email also specifically said that the barcode could not used for entry -- instead we would receive a separate email with a QR code for entry. That email never came. As soon as the office opened (9:00), we called the number included on the email. I spoke to someone directly who said they would send the QR code through What's App. The QR code never came. When I called back, nobody picked up. I called multiple times. I would not recommend using this company.
I had not received my ticket and they were very responsive when I called. They emailed it to me immediately.

Great viewing from the top. It’s a bit crowded up there so be aware of your surroundings.
