Skip the Line: Milan - Brera Art Gallery Ticket

Description
The Brera Art Gallery (Pinacoteca di Brera) is the main museum of Milan, and one of the most important in the world for its prestigious collections of ancient and modern painting, with masterpieces from the 13th to the 20th century. A large part of the collections stems from Napoleonic times, when churches and convents were “required” to cede their works of art to the government. IMPORTANT NOTE: The time you select on the order form is your preferred time. The museum or attraction will automatically confirm the closest available time, which can be ANY TIME during opening hours on the selected date, if your preferred time is no longer available.

Itinerary
The Brera Art Gallery is located in the Brera Palace, former convent of the Humiliati order from the 1300s. Other cultural institutions are also located here, such as the Library, the Astronomic Observatory, the Botanical Garden, the Lombard Institute of Sciences and Letters, and the Fine Arts Academy. When Milan became capital of the Kingdom of Italy, some of the most important paintings appropriated by Napoleon in Italy came to the Brera. Most of them arrived from the Veneto, from the Sampieri Gallery in Bologna, and from the Quadreria Vescovile in Milan. In 1813, following a pact with the Louvre Museum, Brera received five paintings by Rubens, Jordaens, Van Dyck, and Rembrandt, to represent the Flemish school of the 17th century. The Pinacoteca is the main museum of Milan, and one of the most important of the world for its prestigious collections of ancient and modern painting.

Interesting museum and easy online booking, at least two months before the visit date. Entrance tickets (a QR code) had to be sent to us by email before the visit. Except the day before, nothing came. They arrived when we were already in the museum. When we arrived at the ticket counter, I showed my proof of reservation and payment, the staff were understanding and we were able to visit without problems.
We are here just before Easter 2026 and experienced a retrospective Armani fashion show in the La Brera museum. Art is art with clothes or on the wall and it was spectacular! Highly recommend because many of these artists are not as known in other museums in France and England. At least not to :)
Great experience, very easy to access. There was a lot of great art to see. I would recommend this art gallery to anyone.
The picture gallery is beautiful. People come from all over the world to observe the works inside. The Armani exhibition is a significant added value. Must see!! What I object to was having taken the entrance ticket on Tripadvisor. The cost is significantly higher than the real price. It is not true that there is a skip the line and at the entrance I risked not entering because at the checkout there is not that type of booking and it was a non-existent code. I recommend you take the ticket directly on their website also because you pay almost 10 euros less
Tickets available, without having to redeem any coupons or go to the ticket office. Easy accessibility and uncrowded on these dates.
Sadly the promised tickets were not emailed before despite me emailing trip advisor and them saying they were looking into it. We turned up at the venue in case they arrived at the last minute ( as they are separate tickets) but they didn’t and these tickets were all sold out for that day so not only did we have a wasted visit but I’m £39.10 down. I’m awaiting any feedback or refund from trip advisor ( it was 3 days ago) Very disappointing
I bought the ticket for the Pinacoteca di Brera, but when I arrived, the museum was closed for an event. No one has not notified me and no one responds to my emails asking for a refund. I do not recommend purchasing tickets on this website.
buongiorno, come le abbiamo già detto, la chiusura nel giorno da lei scelto era del tutto inaspettata. Non ha accettato la data alternativa che le abbiamo proposto e, come sa, il rimborso totale è già avvenuto.
Excellent gallery of world famous works of premier artists. Its a wonderful museum and a must when in Milano
I recommend booking your ticket online so you don’t have to wait outside for the entrance time (especially if it’s cold). Some pieces alone are worth the ticket, but as a Milanese I am ashamed for how the toilets are kept: we are unspeakable in the world.
We buy tickets a few days in advance because they usually sell out. They didn't look at us the kind of entrance we took on the way in, I don't know if it's common there. A very nice museum worth seeing if you go to Milan.
