The tango show is the best. It seems like it's the most expensive tango show in Buenos Aires. But I think it's worth every penny. The music, the dancers, the orchestra - everything was absolutely top notch! We watched other tango show later, which was also very good. But the Rojo Tango is distinctive. We completely have forgotten about the time, even about included alcohol :))) - we were just engulphed by the experience. Highly recommend to everybody who is into dancing. But even my husband - who is not into dancing at all - was extremely impressed, and enjoyed the show very much. The dinner was also great. The food was delicious and plentiful, the wine seemed to be high quality. All the experience is unforgettable. Probably the best thing I experienced in Buenos Aires. The pick up and drop-off is well organized, and very nice option to have. Makes the evening so much more relaxing. Oh! And don't worry about dress code too much. We kind of got scared reading the comments about the dress code. As my husband didn't pack a sport coat or anything like this with him. We contacted the venue about 30 minutes before pick up with the question about the dress code, they responded right away, and assured us that we should not worry about it. He was just wearing slacks and nice shirt. People were dressed in a very different manner there, and everybody felt happy and comfortable.
Driver arrived on time , restaurant was fantastic and the Rojo Tango show was excellent! Great experience.
I enjoyed my evening very much. The food was quite good, especially the dessert. The show afterwards was good. The dancers were excellent, but the show was not quite as exciting as others I've seen. Smoky night club atmosphere is lots of fun.
We chose to have dinner in the El Mercado, the hotel restaurant, rather than in the dance hall based on other reviews I had read about the food and service and I am very glad we did. We were able to choose from the entire restaurant menu rather than a fixed one. The food and service were excellent. Because we had chosen this package, we were then given VIP seating in the dance hall so we had the best view of the dancers and musicians. The show was riveting. They preformed tangos from various periods in time in the appropriate costumes, giving us a visual history of the dance. Our favorite was a beautiful modern interpretation of a tango performed by two of the dancers. Hotel pickup and drop off was prompt and professional. It was a fabulous evening and we highly recommend it.
