I’m not sure where to start when describing how visiting Siwa with our tour guide, Mostafa, was hands down the absolute BEST place we visited in our entire 11-day stay in Egypt. I can’t even fathom not adding Siwa to our itinerary. We opted for the 3-day, 2-night tour, and our only regret is not booking the longest option available because we genuinely did not want to leave. While there are a million reasons why we absolutely loved our time, I will simplify them to not end up writing an entire book lol. 1). Excellent tour Guide: My cousin and l had Mostafa as our tour guide, and he was literally perfect! He is incredibly empathetic, attentive to our needs, kind and brilliant. We gained a deep understanding of Siwan culture and even learned so much Arabic phrases that I will use forever. As two women traveling, it can sometimes be frightening to trust strangers in a new country. However, Mostafa raised the bar SO high. He is extremely respectful, professional, punctual, and constantly ensured we were meticulously cared for. We loved his service so much that immediately after returning, we booked a tour to Bahariya Oasis. We hope to have him as our tour guide in the near future! Shukran, Mostafa—may God continue to bestow many blessings upon you. 2). Safety: I am admittedly one of the most anxious people when it comes to traveling and stepping out of my comfort zone. The idea of a 9-hour drive to Siwa terrified me before traveling to Egypt. However, Mostafa proved to be a world-class driver. Easily the most skilled I have ever encountered. He is remarkably alert, navigates long distances with absolute ease, and consistently checked in on us/our needs. Also, the route from Cairo to Siwa felt 10000% secure, and not once did we feel unsafe. Please don't let mainstream media discourage you. Egypt is incredibly welcoming and safe. 3). Wonderful people: The most compassionate, genuine, and big-hearted people we encountered during our time in Egypt were right in Siwa. Everyone greeted us with open arms, immense kindness, and beautiful hospitality. The local markets are filled with amazing shops and super affordable prices for souvenir shopping. I wanted to support every single small business we passed simply because the locals had such amazing products and were such authentic, good-natured people. 4). Price: All of the locations on the itinerary truly exceeded our expectations. Everything from the Spring pools to the oasis hotel is even more stunning in person. The price for the entire trip is WORTH IT! Food, drinks, hotel stay, admission to the different excursion locations are all within the price, such a good deal. I have added some photos for reference! If you are debating booking a tour to SIWA, look no further and book HERE!! You won’t regret it
We went from Alexandria to Siwa and everything was perfect the vehicle was comfortable for 5 people the driver stopped several times to buy water and have tea. Service was good
It was a long boring drive. Mustafa was friendly and got us there and back safely. He even remembered it was my birthday and got me a cupcake. Our guide Amr in Siwa was very knowledgeable. Overall we enjoyed our quick trip.
Amazing trip to Siwa! We had a beautiful time in Siwa with our guide Ahmed Temsah. He was kind and really helpful. We enjoyed to spend time in Siwa and we recommend Ahmed 100%. He was exactly the person we needed to have a good time in Siwa!
The super friendly driver and could speak very well with him in English, makes the trip very enjoyable, I totally recommend it!
This trip was so amazing. As a female solo traveler, I was in such good hands with Mostafa!!!! He took care of everything and made sure I was comfortable. I had an amazing guide for the Temple of the Oracle of Amun, Shali Fortress, and Mountain of the Dead. The Safari ride was so much fun and ended with tea made on a fire while watching the sunset. The Siwa Salt Lake was magical and the water was so healing to float in. Every part of this trip was so fun and I met some wonderful people. Siwa is a must see but only with Mostafa or Ahmed. They have truly become friends and I am so grateful for their kindness.
My wife and I had the best time in Siwa, and it honestly wouldn’t have been the same without our driver, Mostafa. Mostafa became more than just a driver, he became a friend. He is kind, honest, patient, and truly a wonderful person. He made our Siwa trip unique, special, and completely unforgettable. YES, YES, YES I highly recommend Mostafa. Hands down!
It took about 18 hours for round-trip to SIWA. Our driver was very very kind and always made us comfortable throughout itinerary. Thanks to him, we did not worry anything.
It was an amazing and safe trip to Cairo from Siwa. Ahmed was perfect m, everything was controlled. We had a plane to take at 6am and we were afraid that we will be late so we booked the drive for 6pm and we arrived at 2:30am☺️
I highly recommend this tour. Even though the car ride is long, it’s very comfortable, and the guide takes you to many beautiful spots while sharing lots of interesting knowledge. We were able to enjoy the beautiful city of Siwa safely, thanks to our guide’s wonderful personality. The desert camp was an unforgettable experience as well. If you’re planning to take this tour, I recommend bringing some insect repellent. There are a few spots with mosquitoes, and having it will make your trip even more comfortable and enjoyable. With heartfelt gratitude to all the staff who took care of us.
