The experience is incredible, immersive, and complete. As soon as we arrived in Siwa, we embarked on a desert safari, and while we enjoyed sledding on the sand dunes, our guide prepared tea and a snack for us to observe the sunset. This is probably what impressed us the most about this activity. A small point to note, unfortunately, we were unable to observe the stars and planets with a telescope as advertised, but it's a minor detail. The rest is rich with swimming in hot springs, in the salt lake, visiting traditional villages, the oracle temple, or even the mountain of death. We regretted that our English was not more developed because we would have had plenty of additional questions to ask. Regarding the accommodation, we weren't quite sure what to expect; we had planned to bring a sleeping bag just in case, but the hotel was well above our expectations with pools and large rooms. There are a few negative points to note, particularly regarding the included meals. There are 3 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and 2 dinners. While we have an 8-hour drive (if all goes well, we actually spent about 13 hours on the way there and 9.5 hours on the way back), we should return without eating lunch. There is not much point in having 3 breakfasts in the morning when we can organize ourselves. Especially since, for us, we missed the first one because, I quote, "we were sleeping." However, at every break, we were awake, and every time the driver called on us... Fortunately, we were allowed a stop on the way back (at 4:15 PM) to compensate... Another downside, while the driver seems very nice, caring, and available, he unfortunately does not speak a word of English, which led us to find ourselves in several situations of misunderstanding, which was rather amusing for us. Ultimately, there were some communication issues on the part of the guide. I think it was the same for him, but we never knew if it was him or the driver who was coming to pick us up, which meant we didn't really say goodbye to him. Nothing very serious, but it's a bit of a shame. In any case, I highly recommend this activity, which will leave us with wonderful memories and a bittersweet feeling about our return to France!
Thank you so much for your review and your details, it was really nice to meet you, usually we're trying to do the best for our guest, and we're sorry for misunderstanding. Really we hope to see you again in Siwa with our regards.
Since we were picked up at the airport Ahmed and Mohamed were always watching us, Siwa is wonderful, the food delicious.
We met wonderful people, experienced a rich culture, and saw breathtaking landscapes. Despite the long drive (about 8–9 hours), it’s well worth it—everything is beautiful and peaceful. You’ll see that there’s still a healthy world out there. Don’t hesitate for a second!!!

Mohammed was the most amazing human being and tour guide. He made our introduction to siwa the most magical, life changing experience that we will never forget. He was incredibly knowledgeable and you could tell how much he enjoyed teaching people about town of siwa and its rich history. I highly recommend visiting siwa during your time in Egypt, it’s a very special place in this world and full of very kind people. Mohammed is the perfect tour guide.
Windows of Siwa was an absolute standout of our trip. The place has this calm desert magic about it — beautiful views, traditional style, and the sort of peaceful vibe that makes you instantly slow down. After long days exploring the oasis, it was the perfect place to unwind and watch the sun disappear over the desert. A huge shout-out to Ahmed, our driver, who somehow managed to get us safely across what felt like half the Sahara. The roads, checkpoints and desert tracks are no joke, but Ahmed handled it all like a legend and always with a smile. And then there’s Dr Mohammod, who clearly pours his heart into the place. His knowledge of Siwa, its history and culture is incredible, but what really stood out was how much he genuinely wants his guests to have the best experience possible. Nothing was too much trouble and you could tell he takes real pride in making sure everyone leaves happy. If you’re heading to Siwa, Windows of Siwa is the sort of place that makes the trip unforgettable — authentic, welcoming and run by people who truly care.
AN ABSOLUTE MUST! We are usually “do it yourself” type people but this tour was so perfect so we didn’t have to worry or think at all, simply enjoy. Mohammed from Cairo was the kindest, coolest driver and Mohammed from Siwa was the most fun, competent tour guide ever! Seriously, if you’re considering do this any other way you don’t even know what you don’t know until this fabulous tour is handling the passport checks (about 16 between here and cairo, not kidding) and the tricky road conditions with ease. You must go!!!
Thanks for your feedback, it was nice to meet you, my regards to your friends.
Cannot recommend this tour enough! We are usually people to do it ourselves to save the money but I cannot emphasize enough how necessary it is to have their guidance and expertise here. We did not have to plan or think about anything and simply got to enjoy Siwa. We love you, Mohammed!
Thank you so much, it was nice to meet you, we hope to see you again, our regards to your friends.
We did the tour with my family and I super recommend it! The explanations of Mohamed, the guide, were excellent and very interesting, you could notice his passion for the place. We really enjoyed all the activities planned for the tour. We had a beautiful trip I'd do it again!
Thanks for your review, We're lucky to host a family like yours, we hope to see you again soon.
The guide was kind. When I first left Cairo for Siwa, I wondered what would happen if the driver could only speak Arabic :) but I was relieved to know he was such a good person. I want to try Koshali's meal too! I am grateful for your requests and for the long hours of photography you have given me at Oasis!
Thanks a lot about your feedback, it was nice to meet you, you're welcome in Siwa anytime.
