Castle built between the 8th and 9th centuries, located on one of the peaks of the Serra de Sintra and with a privileged view over the surrounding area of Sintra.
A 19th-century Romantic-style palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Also known as Palácio da Vila, it was built in the 15th century and used by the Portuguese Royal Family practically until the end of the Monarchy, in 1910.
On this farm, there is a palace, surrounded by lush gardens, lakes, caves and enigmatic constructions with alchemical meanings. Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Manueline architecture.
19th century palace, with Gothic, Indian and Arabic elements. Its gardens have a wide variety of plant species and even ornamental lakes and ruins of very old buildings.

Susana did a great job and got us to all the spots we wanted to see in just around 4 hours! Highly recommend if you want to hit a couple spots outside of Lisbon but don’t want to commit to a full day on travel bus with a lot of people. Personal and well worth the additional money to get a private tour!
