Our tour guide, Bruno, gave us an unforgettable experience around beautiful Sintra. Bruno has such a passion for his hometown and it shows. There were so many details we would’ve missed traveling around and Bruno would make sure that we knew all the history and how everything among the architecture (and including the culture and food) tied together in every stop we visited. We all had a wonderful day visiting every stop. Bruno’s services went above and beyond and made sure we were comfortable and we all felt like we had VIP service with him. Definitely would give today at 12/10 rating. Had a lot of fun and would love to bring others back to experience the same day I had. Beautiful culture and wonderful people! Bruno introduced us all to a wonderful gem in the world along with all the sights we visited at Pena Palace, old town Sintra, Quinta da regaleira, and ending in cascáis. Amazing day and many many thanks to Bruno!
This was worth every penny. Bruno was fantastic. He is passionate about his country & heritage. He grew up in Sintra and now supports his young family sharing his vast knowledge of Portugal and the sites. We will be sharing his contact with anyone we know that is coming to visit Portugal. First Class all the way.
Bruno was an excellent guide with a deep knowledge of Sintra. His recommendations were well thought out. He was also very accommodating, especially with my elderly parents.
We recently booked a private tour to Sintra and Cascais and had a really nice day overall. We were a group of five, including a toddler and two grandparents, so having it as a private tour made things much easier in terms of pacing and flexibility. The itinerary was well thought out, with a few shorter stops like Cabo da Roca that helped break up the day. Sintra and Cascais were both beautiful, and it was a great way to get out of Lisbon for the day. It’s a full day, but it didn’t feel rushed. Our guide, Bruno was knowledgeable and easygoing. He shared interesting information without turning it into a long lecture, and he was patient with all our questions. Traveling with both a little one and older family members can be a bit unpredictable, but he was accommodating and kept things running smoothly. All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience and a convenient way to see a lot in one day without having to plan everything ourselves.
Bruno contacted us several days ahead of time to confirn pickup time and location which helped put our mind at ease. We were picked up at the Cruise Ship Terminal at 7:45 to get an early start and beat the crowds that can overwhelm the palace later in the day. It was a relatively short 35-40 minute ride to the Pena Palace. When we arrived rest rooms were available and then we decided to take thev7 minute walk up hill to the Palace. Bruno stayed with us during the tour explaining the history and what each section of the palace wascused for. Bruno spoke excelent english so it was easy to understand everything and he was able to take our photos at several locations in the Palace. After the palace Bruno gave us about an hour to walk ariund Sintra and told us where to go to sample the local "Little Pillow" pastries unique to Sintra. We also had time to take photos of the Narional Palace and shop for T-shirts before meeting Bruno at the Pickup point in Sintra. We had great weather and really enjoyed our trip to Sintra and the Pena Palace.
The trip to Pena Palace was unforgettable. Bruno was our guide for the day and he went above and beyond! His knowledge of the area and the Palace was incredible. He was raised in the area and his love for Portugal and its rich culture was inspiring!
It warms my heart to read your review Laurie! I’m so glad you enjoyed the trip to Pena Palace and that I had the opportunity to share my passion for my hometown with you. It was truly a joy to share the history and culture of Sintra. Stay safe and I hope to see you again soon!
Bruno made our experience at Pena Palace and Sintra so meaningful! His love of Portugal and the culture was so evident. We instantly felt comfortable with him and we each shared our personal lives on our drive to the Palace. I really felt like I was along with a dear friend! I learned a lot and had the most enjoyable afternoon of our whole trip! Bruno loves his job and wants to share it with you!! Best travel experience!

Every part of this tour was incredible, including Bruno’s responsiveness prior to the tour and diligence answering our questions, his knowledge and passion for Portugal, and most of all, his friendly and warm demeanor. Bruno tailored the tour specifically for our needs and made sure to accommodate every person in the group. His attentiveness and thoughtfulness was unmatched. He also surprised us with pastries in the morning! We would rate more than 5 stars if we could. We highly recommend Bruno and his tours to anyone looking for a great and meaningful experience traveling abroad!
