We had an incredible guide, Bruno Fernandes. He was informative and shared his “secret gems” with us too.
Bruno our guide picked us up from our hotel at 8.30 and was with usExcellent until 5.30. He was knowledgeable and entertaining. He totally listened to what we were interested in and adapted accordingly. 100 per cent recommend him and this tour.
Full day driving with Vasco to Caicais and Sintra. Beautiful towns along the ocean. Stopped for coffee and walked around town. Drive the most Western point of Europe then on to Sintra. We had a fabulous lunch then on to Pena castle. Vasco lives in Sintra and is very knowledgeable on the history of the area. A must trip for anyone visiting Lisbon
Full day with a great experience of getting to know greater Lisbon into Casais and beautiful Sintra. I recommend this to all visitors
It was a great tour. So much easier than trying to see these same places on our own, finding parking etc. And the local knowledge was very good
This trip was so special, going with a local who is born and bred and has the passion made it all the more special
Very pleasant day with our guide Bruno, friendly, available and attentive. Beautiful discovery of Sintra, Cabo da Roca and Cascaïs. We recommend!
We booked the Sintra and Cascais tour as part of a budget-friendly travel package, so we assumed we’d be placed on a large group bus with a fairly standard, “check-the-boxes” experience. Instead, we were paired with Bruno Hernandez — and what we received was essentially a private, deeply personalized tour that exceeded every expectation we had. Bruno was kind, genuine, and incredibly knowledgeable. From the very beginning, he took the time to understand how we like to travel — our pace, the kinds of details we appreciate, and the type of atmosphere we enjoy — and he customized the entire day around us. His explanations of Sintra’s history, architecture, and cultural context were thoughtful and engaging, never rushed or rehearsed. It truly felt like being shown these places by someone who loves and respects them. He also took wonderful care of us throughout the day — offering recommendations for local food, sharing insights about the region, and even surprising us with pastries and water so we could enjoy the experience comfortably. It was such a small gesture, but it spoke volumes about his consideration and pride in what he does. Sintra and Cascais are beautiful on their own, but experiencing them with someone who understands how to match the day to the traveler made this one of the highlights of our trip. If you have the chance to book with Bruno, you will be in excellent hands. We would recommend him without hesitation.
Great personal tour with Bruno. Who is a local from Sintra, so his knowledge was 22nd to none! Turned up on time, his car was immaculate and water offered straight away. His driving was excellent. No plans written in stone so we were able to change the tour as we wanted bri g just the four of us. He was a great historian, raconteur and generally nice all round young man. His tour was great visited some lovely places. Highly recommended
They are places not to miss on a trip to Portugal, especially when you go with a professional guide like Bruko we had, plus the place of lunch in Cascais great
