What a fabulous day out! We went to the Singapore Zoo around 1pm, and found that we timed it perfectly for lots of feedings and talks as we walked around the zoo (on a Friday). We spent around 5 hours there, which was about right. We bought a double ticket for the night safari too, and went there around 6:30-7. The night safari Tram and trails were amazing! Such a good time, but bear in mind the time you book doesn’t correlate to the time you get on a tram. We had a 7:15 ticket, but started queuing around 6:45 as the queue was filling up, and got on the tram about 7:20. 100% worth doing both though!
Everything was punctual and in order; it was a great experience, and we enjoyed it immensely. A great place to return to.
Lovely to see animals looked after so well. Enjoyed the experience very much.
Enjoyed the zoo and night safari which are next to each other. It is a long drive so it was great to have a pickup and return from the hotel. Was so easy with this tour.
A fantastic place to visit, even though it rained most of the day. Well organised transport from Ramsay who contacted me 24 hours before via whatsapp to send the tickets. Be prepared there is a lot of walking in the Zoo itself, then you go to the Night Safari which is a short walk in a different park. The tram ride takes about 30 minutes and there is another walk around the animals which takes over an hour. We ate in Night Safari section and food was good and reasonably priced. A great day
To be fair, the grade should be incomplete. Spent a great deal of time on communication & clarification of exactly what we were paying for. Really wanted to do this tour. Tried two different times to make the tour happen. First, there are two to three different versions of the night safari. The descriptions between the separate versions, was sort of ambiguous. Even after talking multiple times to Viator/Tripadvisor service people, who basically just repeated the written descriptions, we couldn’t get a clear understanding of times for pickup, arrival, and actual park experience time. After contacting the tour operator directly, it was explained to us that the VIP experience we chose, was a late pickup, no early entry, and a miss of the night animals last show of the night. That was a deal killer for us. That show is very popular and incredibly entertaining according to reviews. We were trying to indulge ourselves by paying premium for front of the line access to the in park trolleys because of long lines everywhere in Singapore (Chinese New Year). The value for the cost wasn’t there for us. A day tour maybe the way to go next time.
Went to the night zoo, so easy to get here on the MRT, the shuttle was waiting took about 20 minutes. Had the presentation first at 19.30 which was so good, the animals they had come out were amazing. We then decided to walk around the zoo, the queue for the tram wasn’t long really, but exercise is our friend. That proved to be a good decision, we saw so much more walking. Different enclosures we could get into. Bats, crocs, otters, rhino, and so much more. It was such a great place. We didn’t wait long for a shuttle to take us back to the MRT.
Not your average zoo! These animals are in some amazing, natural setups – saw everything from lions to orangutans. But the real highlight was the Night Safari. Riding around in the dark, spotting animals with just the sounds of the jungle around – it’s got a whole adventure feel to it. A little outta the way but totally worth the trip.
Our driver was very helpful. Best experience was River Wonders including cruise, and also the tram on the night safari.
Had a great time - picked up on time (actually a little before - with a very nice driver and we were the only ones on this trip. He dropped us off with the tickets and we took it from there. I think people need to know that the shows have to be booked at the stations next to the door of the theatre. Also that the night train has a long queue although it moves well. The tram ride at the daytime zoo was also very good. Would do it again. and would recommend.
