2 of us had a wonderful tour with Priscilla as our guide through some of Singapore’s historically ethnic neighbourhoods, and of course, the food! Priscilla was a friendly and engaging guide, very knowledgeable and conscientious, always making sure we were comfortable and having great conversations the while time. The tour was well-paced, with good food at each stop, and time in between to digest while learning about Singapore’s history and various groups that immigrated and contributed to its distinct culture. We started hungry and left full, with a better understanding of how to order and eat everything from curry puffs, kaya toast, laksa, “carrot cake”, noodles (mee), curries, dosai, coffee (kopi), tea (teh) and sugar cane juice - freshly squeezed, among others. One of the interesting things about this tour was not only trying the food, but also seeing how some of it was prepared, as well as learning the unique blend of chinese, malay and tamil words used to describe the dishes. This was our first time in Singapore, and we learned a lot. We feel ready to explore Hawker Centres and other shops on our own, with a few ideas of where to go next.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that you had such an enjoyable experience with Priscilla. She'll be thrilled to know that her friendly approach, knowledge, and passion for sharing Singapore's history and food made your tour so memorable. It's great to know you enjoyed the variety of local dishes and that the tour gave you the confidence to continue exploring Singapore's hawker centres and local eateries on your own. Thank you once again for choosing Hello! Singapore Tours. We hope to welcome you back on your next visit to Singapore!
We had a wonderful time with Pam - the food was varied and delicious, the stops were thoughtful and the information that Pam shared with us - with the food as background - was interesting and informative. The food stops were interspersed with walking and stops to learn about neighborhoods and culture, so it didn’t feel like an overwhelming eating tour at all (though I’m glad we didn’t have dinner reservations!). And even though it rained pretty hard for a large part of the tour, Pam chose thoughtful pathways to get us where we needed to go, so we don’t feel like we missed out on anything and we didn’t get soaked. Would highly recommend!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that you had such an enjoyable experience with Pam. It's great to know that you appreciated the balance of delicious food, cultural insights, and neighborhood exploration. We'll be sure to share your kind words with Pam, who will be thrilled to hear them. We're also glad that despite the rain, she was able to adapt the route and ensure you had a comfortable and memorable experience. Thank you for your recommendation, and we hope to welcome you back on another tour soon!
Excellent tour not only for the wonderful food experience but also a bit of history and culture of singapore. Every place we visited was welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed every stop, some more than others but mostly loved them Our guide was Richard who was excellent, informative knowledgeable kept things moving at a reasonable pace but in no way rushed. So much fun
I wanted to rate it a 10 but 5 is the most allowed. Gee was friendly and knowledgeable. We visited several different communities and sampled many different foods. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in visiting the different regions and experiencing the different foods and cultures. Definitely a highlight of our trip.

Pam did an amazing Job. Full of energy and information, made the time go by fast. So much FUN and Delicious!
Our guide for this six-hour tour was with Pamela, who had an outgoing personality and was very knowledgeable about the food and the various cultures we would be sampling. There was only one other couple on the tour with us, so it was an intimate group. The description of this 9:00 a.m. tour warns participants not to eat breakfast. Heed that warning! We started in Chinatown with chicken cream puff and a local favorite, Kaya Toast and it turned out to be one of the group's favorites too. But just about everything we tasted was excellent. This tour covers four distinct neighborhoods, embracing Chinese, Malaysian, Muslim and Indian cuisines with small, but generous and favorable food and drink in each neighborhood. But Pamela's often funny and always informative commentary was not just about the food, but also about the communities and the cultures that make Singapore so fascinating. When we were not walking from one eatery to another, we rode the buses. Pam made the experience easy. We sampled everything from rice dumplings and a fried oyster omelette, to Beef Rendang and Teh Tarik Iced Tea served in a bag! By the time we were at the last of more than a dozen stops, we could hardly enjoy the Paper-thin dosai pastry & mango lassi drink for dessert. We were full! But enjoy it we did. By the end, we had enjoyed Pam's company so much we were sorry to see the tour end. It had been a full, and fulfilling six hours.
Our day with Pam was incredible! She was the most amazing guide, so knowledgeable, full of great information and stories to share, great sense of humour and this tour really felt like a day out with a friend eating and laughing together. We all had the most amazing day and would recommend Pam and this tour to everyone! This was the best possible way to begin our holiday, and something we will always remember.

Amazing experience. We did it on the first morning and our guide Su set us up for the rest of our trip with all we learned! Don’t eat breakfast before you go!

We had an amazing experience on the food tour, thanks to our incredible guide, Gee! From the moment we started, he made us feel welcome and excited to dive into the world of hawker markets and the unique foodie landscape of Singapore. They shared fascinating stories about Singapore’s food culture, guided us through the bustling markets with ease, and introduced us to a delicious variety of local dishes I might never have discovered on my own. Their enthusiasm, knowledge, and warm personality made the whole tour unforgettable. Every stop was thoughtfully chosen, and the guide made sure we understood the history, flavors, and traditions behind each dish. It truly felt like exploring Singapore with a local friend who loves food and loves sharing it with others.
