I cannot express enough....

I cannot express enough. Take this tour. Gary is amazing and so accommodating. It was great to see the city and enjoy the local eats. Take this tour first if you’re visiting. There are may places I would’ve liked to go back to and try more things if I had done this first.

Gary was Spectacular

The food tour with Gary was nothing short of amazing! If I could give it 100 stars I would! Gary was so thorough in making sure to explain not only the food, but the culture surrounding the item! Plus our tour of two people made it seem more like a private tour!

The Best Tour I've Ever Taken

This tour was the highlight of our Singapore trip. I cannot recommend Gary enough, he is one of the best guides I've ever had. It was the experience of a lifetime to get a food tour of Singapore with a former chef - I will be thinking about all the dishes we tried for the rest of my life. I really appreciated how kind and funny Gary is, and that he took the time to explain some of the history of Singapore and help us get to know the country better. If you can do one tour during your time in Singapore, Gary is your guy! Thanks for everything, Gary!

Amazing experience

Gary was great company and very knowledgeable about all things Singapore not just the food but the culture and history. He took us to many great areas to try fantastic food and drinks. We did this tour on our first full day in Singapore and I highly recommend doing this, it introduced us to the amazing Singapore food and the correct etiquette at Hawker Markets. We had Gary to ourselves it was just myself and my partner on this tour so felt like we had a private tour. Gary said he only does small group tours as he wants it to feel more personable, unlike some of the big tour groups. Definitely go hungry there is a lot of great food. Gary is starting out his business and we wish him every success, we would highly recommend you book this tour we can guarantee you will not regret it.

The Best in Singapore!

I don’t usually take the time to write long reviews, but this one really deserves it. We booked a tour with Gary through Local Local Tours, and it ended up being one of the most memorable parts of our time in Singapore. From the very beginning, it didn’t feel like a typical tour. It felt like being welcomed into the city by someone who genuinely loves what he does and cares about the people he’s showing around. Gary has a great way of sharing his knowledge without ever making it feel heavy or scripted. Everything came across naturally, like a conversation. He blended history, culture, and personal stories in a way that was engaging and easy to absorb, and somehow it all just stuck. One of the highlights for us was the food. He guided us toward dishes we probably never would have tried on our own and encouraged us, in a really thoughtful way, to step a little outside our comfort zone. I’m so glad we did. It ended up being such a fun and meaningful part of the experience, and it gave us a deeper appreciation for the culture here. It wasn’t just about eating, it was about connecting. At some point along the way, it stopped feeling like a tour altogether and started to feel like we were just out exploring with a friend. That’s not something you can manufacture, and it really speaks to who Gary is. He was also incredibly intuitive. He picked up on what we were enjoying and adjusted along the way without ever making it feel like a “customized experience.” It just felt easy and natural, and those little touches made a big difference. If you’re looking for something more personal, more genuine than a standard tour, this is it. It’s the kind of experience that stays with you long after it’s over. Gary, thank you for such a great day. We’ll be talking about this one for a long time. This is a tour worth taking! Highly recommend!!!
