The driver had warned us beforehand...

<p>The driver had warned us beforehand that the trip from Sigiriya to the airport was likely to take longer due to road construction. He was right: what should have been a 2-3 hour trip ended up being at least 4 hours. We had left in plenty of time, however, so we still made our flight. The driver was courteous and professional.</p>
