I decided to book this sightseeing transfer (instead of using the local bus) so that I could visit a couple sights on the way to Ohrid. As this was a private transfer, it was nice that I could choose the start time; I still chose an early start at 8:30am. Igor was my guide and driver and he was already at the meeting point when I arrived (my hotel was located in a pedestrian only area so he could not meet in front of it). Igor was a safe driver and good guide offering me some facts and insights along the way. We stopped twice on the way to Ohrid. First stop was to Heraclea Lyncestis and I spent a little over 1/2 hour exploring - I opted to use the audio guide instead of a guide but found the audio guide to be a bit overwhelming with too much information being communicated. In retrospect, I should have gone with the guide. I stopped using the audio guide after a few stops and decided to just take in the whole sight. Second stop was Bitola and Igor showed me around before we sat down for a nice local meal. After lunch we continued the drive to Ohrid where we arrived around 3pm. I thought this transfer tour was a good option to see more of North Macedonia without having my own transportation and Igor provided a good level of information during the drive/tour.
