Itinerary
We will take you on a marvelous day trip with a private guide around the South-West coast of the island showing you the most beautiful, iconic, and hidden places of Ibiza! This is a 7-8 hour day trip starting either in the morning or in the afternoon (sunset day trip) by car for up to 4-8 people. The trip is for either a private group or a minimum of 3 people! At the Natural Park of Ses Salines, we´ll see the famous salt ponds with a salt mountain where they grow salt the most important good produced in Ibiza. On the way, we´ll also see Ses Salines - one of the most visited and beautiful beaches of Ibiza, Es Cavallet, Experimental Beach, and if we are lucky we´ll also see Flamingo!
We will head to the tropical-looking Cala Jondal following a narrow road with open breathtaking sea views and one can enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Ibiza! On the way we will stop at the Punta de Can Toni Fita - an amazing sea viewpoint! One can take a swim there and/or enjoy a drink or lunch at the famous restaurant Tropicana.
The next stop will be the watching platform in front of Es Vedra. Standing at almost 400 meters high, this uninhabited rock island made of limestone is situated 2 km off the southwest coast of Ibiza and is right opposite the beach of Cala d'Hort. Es Vedrà is shrouded in myths and legends, the most popular of which is that it is the third most magnetic spot on Earth (after the North Pole and the Bermuda Triangle). On request, we will also go up the so-called “Pirate Tower” or Torre des Savinar from which we can see Atlantis and go down into a cave located in front of Es Vedra.
Es Cubells is a village, which has less than one thousand inhabitants and is notable for its small number of buildings, standing out the church dedicated to Mare de Déu del Carme, patron saint of the sailors. This is one of the most hidden villages of the island, located southwest, in the municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia. Once you’re in the village center what’s most striking is that it’s right on top of a dramatic cliff with magnificent views over Formentera! We will take a short walk there enjoying the breathtaking sea views and following a narrow winding road to the coast passing by a water spring. As an option, we can have lunch there in a local restaurant "Bar Restaurant Es Cubells" which offers local food of great quality and affordable prices.
Finally, we shall reach the beautiful Cala D´Hort from where it is also possible to see Es Vedra. There we will stay to sunbathe and swim enjoying the beautiful view of Es Vedra!
On the way from Cala d’Hort, we are going to go along the Western coastline passing the beautiful Cala Vadella beach and stopping at the breathtaking views on the top of Cala Vadella!
And the next and last stop will be at the Ibiza Stonehenge and the Doors of Cala Llentia. Stonehenge is officially known as Time and Space – The Speed of Light is 13 huge columns standing out on a cliff by the sea created by Andrew Rogers, and financed by the founder of Cirque du Soleil, Guy Laliberté. They say that passing through the Doors of Cala Llentia will cleanse you and you can start a new life!

We liked the tour with the tour guide; she was an English lady very personalized and adjusted to our needs..
Thank you very much!
It was an absolutely amazing experience - exactly what I was looking for! I got a great overview of the island just in one day and the guide made me feel and understand the real essence of the island! Very interesting and professional!
It´s been a great experience! Just in one day I could literally see almost half of the island, it´s most beautiful and magical places, off the beaten pass! Enjoy the island´s landscapes and breathtaking views as the route is made following very narrow countryside roads away from the busy and noisy main roads. The guide has also shared a lot of interesting, insider information about the island having broken my idea of it as just a party island! Now I would like to come back to Ibiza again and again!
It has been an absolutely incredible tour during which we could enjoy one of the most beautiful and magical spots of the island, enjoy staying on several beaches, get a lot of interesting information about the island, and understand the true essence of it! Katerina is a very knowledgable guide who makes one fall in love with the island and want to come back again and again!
This has been an absolutely fabulous tour! Exactly what I was looking for! It was very interesting and entertaining, we could see half of the island just in one day! See the most beautiful, and special places of the island, swim and sunbathe as well. Katerina is a very knowledgable guide and she told me about the real essence and the magic of Ibiza and now I am in love with the island! Book this tour if you would not only like to see the most special places of the island, but also get to know it´s true essence!
This tour has been exactly what we´ve been looking for – we could see literally half of the island just in one day! It´s most beautiful, famous, and hidden parts (of the South-West)! Katerina took us along the narrow roads showing breath-taking sea views and gorgeous landscapes. She is a very knowledgeable guide and told us a lot about the history, the people, and the essence of Ibiza! Highly recommended!
Worst tour guide and most unprofessional guide I’ve ever met! Totally unprepared and did not listen to what we wanted - wasted time along the way and ugh I cannot even begin to tell you how disappointing it was!! And the money spent…was a waste
Unfortunately, the clients didn´t understand at all what they had booked. First of all, they were not sure if they booked a whole day or a half-day tour. Secondly, they had an absolutely wrong idea about the route of the tour, although they were sent an exact itinerary before the start of the tour. During the tour they asked the guide to change the route and that´s exactly what she did - she brought them to the Old Town and showed them around. Not that the guide was unprepared, but she did even more changing the whole programme and route trying to please the client.
We've had an absolutely amazing day with Katerina who's showed us the most beautiful and magical places of the island! She's told us a lot of stories about Es Vendrá, and the island in general, it's real essence and what attracts people to Ibiza! We've fallen in love with the island and would like to come back again and explore it with Dreamstayibiza! 100% recommended!
