Didn't get what we paid for

Description said 3.5 hours. We toured for an hour on an un-air conditioned bus. We were dropped off at the Tabernacle building after an hour and had to wait 45 minutes in the extreme heat to get in. Thought a big part of the tour price was the Tabernacle Choir rehearsal. Turns out that is actually free to the public. Website description doesn't come close to what we got. Bad value for sure.

Operator response

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear the experience didn't meet your expectations. Our Sights Tour & Tabernacle Choir tour is designed to provide a guided sightseeing experience through Salt Lake City followed by attendance at the Tabernacle Choir rehearsal. While the rehearsal itself is free to attend, our tour includes transportation, guided commentary, and coordination of the experience. We understand, however, that this may not have been as clear as it should have been. We also appreciate your comments about the wait and the heat. The rehearsal is extremely popular, and arriving early helps ensure guests are able to get seats together, but we understand that waiting outdoors on a hot day can be uncomfortable. Your feedback about the tour description and overall value is very helpful, and we'll review our listing to make sure it better sets expectations for future guests. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.

Overpriced tour

This tour isn’t worth the price. Gave it a 3 because the driver was nice and shared some fun things. Pick up/meeting instructions weren’t clear. Felt like much of tour was trying to get business for downtown restaurants.

Operator response

Thank you for your feedback—we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed your driver’s commentary and found parts of the tour engaging. That said, we’re sorry that the overall experience didn’t meet your expectations. Your note about the meeting instructions is especially helpful, and we’ll be reviewing how we communicate pickup details to make things clearer for future guests. Regarding the tour content, our goal is to highlight local businesses and dining spots as part of showcasing the city, but we understand how that may not align with what every guest is looking for. Your feedback helps us strike a better balance. We genuinely value your input and will use it to continue improving the experience. Thank you again, SLC Bus Tours Team
