We had a wonderful fun experience
Joanna was a fantastic teacher and so much fun. Great family activity with my 20-year old sons. They enjoyed the class and then eating (of course).
As a family of 4 adults with mixed ability in the kitchen, we all looked forward to this course. The venue is lovely and easy to get to. As we started a little late in a group of 14, our chef seemed under pressure to make up the time so it was very rushed and frantic! Instructions were poor at times so our experience in making pasta was not as enjoyable as we had hoped. We did however get to sit down with our group who were lovely afterwards and enjoy the home cooked ravioli, tortellini and spagetti followed by tiramisu! It is worth doing if you like cooking and work well under pressure.
Our family of 6 including a baby had the best time! We also had a ten year old. We highly recommend this tour!
We really enjoyed this experience! We liked that it was right in the heart of Siena so didn’t have to arrange any travel. Food turned out excellent and we can’t wait to try the recipes at home!
The experience was fine, but they had prepared so many things before we got there that it really wasn’t a cooking class. Could’ve been friendlier in terms of asking people where they were from, could’ve given a drink of water when we arrived. Just not that gracious. But food was good and good value when compared to other classss that are twice the price.
There’s no “welcome”, people just begin before everyone is there. No introduction, no get to know each other. The location was somewhere else than advertised, we had asked if we could come with a pram and didn’t get a response, and the acoustics in the room are so bad that you can’t really follow well. For me, the table I had to work on was unstable and rocked around dangerously. My station also didn’t have the pasta cutter so I had to ask somebody else if I could use theirs. It’s all a bit weird and hectic. However, the food and wine at the end is first class.
Total Group Size was a little larger than I expected - made it hard to hear the 2 instructors at times. Good hands-on fun. Would have liked a printed copy of our recipes. They provided a QR code but I couldn’t get a strong enough cell signal in the old building to check it. Lunch was fun but too long. Everyone was finished dining but no one cam to check on us. Finally they brought out our tiramisu and we were able to wrap up and leave. Great location in Siena. Fun instructors.
This was such a fun experience! Our instructor was amazing, personable and knowledgeable and we learned some great tips and techniques. The cooking space was light, bright and wonderful. It was so fun to eat our pasta and tiramisu at dinner afterwards. Our family of 7 adults had a great time. We highly recommend this class!
Great fun! Well organized and the staff are kind and helpful. Gave step by step instructions and demonstrarion. Loved it.
