Journey through the countryside to a beautiful lotus farm near Tonlé Sap Lake. Learn about the cultural significance of Cambodia's national flower and how every part of the lotus plant is used for food, religious offerings, traditional crafts, and even lotus silk production. You will also handpick lotus flowers to bring as an offering for your upcoming blessing ceremony.
Step inside a peaceful local pagoda and gain a deeper understanding of Cambodian Buddhism, temple life, and local traditions. Meet a Buddhist monk and enjoy a rare opportunity to ask questions about his daily life, spiritual practice, and teachings. Then take part in a traditional water blessing ceremony. As monks chant sacred prayers, holy water is gently poured over you to symbolize purification, protection, and the release of negative energy. Many Cambodians receive blessings before important life events, journeys, or new beginnings. Following the ceremony, you will receive a traditional red blessing bracelet as a symbol of good fortune, protection, and peace. Please note: You will become wet during the blessing ceremony. We recommend bringing a towel and a change of clothes.
After changing into dry clothes, enjoy fresh seasonal fruits and refreshments while reflecting on your experience. Relax and chat with your guide before returning comfortably to your hotel.

This all-female team provided a journey that was as insightful as it was seamless. Experience Highlights Expert Instruction: Heng is a brilliant guide. She taught me the delicate art of folding lotus flowers and explained every step of the spiritual journey with incredible clarity. I never felt lost; she bridged the cultural gap perfectly. Wonderful Hospitality: Our driver, Pich, was fantastic. She ensured our travel was smooth and safe, and together with Heng, they made me feel completely looked after the entire time. The monk was very beautiful. It lasted about 3-4 hours, fascinating and delightful. The guide was very gracious, patient and informative. The highlight of my visit!

I had the most incredible experience on a tour with Hong, along with her trainee and our driver—they were all absolutely fantastic! This was, without a doubt, the best tour experience I've had in Siem Reap and even in all of Cambodia. I’ve spent time in Phnom Penh and Koh Rong but this tour truly stands out as my most memorable experience. Hong is incredibly knowledgeable, and the places she took us felt so special—hidden gems tucked away in the village she grew up in that most tourists probably don't visit That made the experience even more unique and special. I truly wish Hong and her business, CWE Travel Cambodia all the success in the world! This is one of the best experiences we have had in Cambodia, our guide Hong, really loves her culture and country, you can sense that right at the beginning of the tour. On top of that , she is more than wiling to share all of her knowledge and how they go about their day to day life, experiences from her ovn life, her family’s and friends, which makes the tour very personal and special - we enjoyed every minute! Highly recommend this experience. It's a great way to explore some of the less touristy areas and learn about Khmer culture. My tour guide Hong was kind and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed learning about life in the villages and the lotus flower. The water blessing was beautiful and healing.
