Boring, Overpriced & Not Worth It – Avoid This Tour I booked the Side: Manavgat River Cruise with Lunch, Waterfall & Bazaar Visit and unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the most underwhelming experiences I've had while travelling. From the moment we got on the boat, it became clear that the whole thing was a money-making scheme. We were immediately hit with extortionate prices – €5 for a single pack of crisps, drinks, chocolates, or sweets. The boat stayed parked for over an hour in the chilly winter weather, not for sightseeing, but so the crew could try selling overpriced wares. They also took photos of people with a parrot and attempted to sell them for €10 each. The boat ride itself was very short, taking us to an unimpressive stretch of beach where we walked around aimlessly for an hour. Then we returned to the boat for lunch – I had pre-selected vegetarian or fish, but was told on the day that fish was “too expensive” and was offered chicken instead. The food was disappointing overall; dry chicken and bland options that left many people complaining. The entire experience on the boat was cold and boring – you could see people were unhappy and restless. When we finally reached the waterfall, it was dull and unengaging, so I left after 30 minutes. At that point, I couldn’t bear the trip anymore and cut my 8-hour tour short, ending it after just 3 hours. To top it off, it was clear the tour host was getting freebies at every stop for bringing in tourists to spend money. The whole thing felt staged, artificial, and designed to squeeze as much money from visitors as possible. If you’re considering this tour, don’t waste your time. You’re far better off hiring a private driver and exploring Side and Manavgat on your own terms. This trip was nothing more than a boring, superficial money grab.

Everything reasonably fine ok old bus food nice friendly helpful nice yet for that price , just enjoy enjoy enjoy

The boat trip was definitely worth the cost..if your confident to jump in the ocean you'd love it even more..then spent hour on the beach nice as you can go on jet skis or go on a camel ride..waterfall we spent like 30 mins there ( not the best) having said that once you've seen it was a little underwhelming..2 hours at the market decent amount of time but the coach left us to walk bout 10 mins b4 getting to market...just make sure you go on the good day to the market..Tuesday or Thursday..all in all a good day out but 9 hours is a long one. Would've been better if the boat ride was a lil shorter

We enjoyed the day although it was quite long. The stop off at the Waterfall was nice as was the boat trip. The lunch was Ok. The only thing we did not like was a stop off at a clothing outlet .

If you have ever seen a waterfall, you don't need to see this one. It will be a big let down. It's simply a place for stall holders and people selling photos of you with parrots, to make money. Bear in mind the Parrot man will take a lot of photos and wants you to buy them all. It sounds reasonable at 6 euros per photo, but he will print off loads and then charge you for the lot. Be assertive in the first place or be prepared to spend much more than you want. Lunch on the boat trip is rice and salad with meat or fish. If you are vegetarian you get rice and salad. Everything else is extra. They come round with ice creams, drinks and lots of things to get you to buy. Lunch is late, so you are starving and want to buy crisps and other rubbish before you get anything else to eat. You're then put down on a beach and left for an hour. Most people went back to the boat and waited until it went back again. The bazaar is simply a street market with the usual goods. Nothing different. Be prepared to spend money to go the loo. It also lasts longer than the time stated and everyone was weary and ready to go back to their hotel long beforehand. This is not a trip you need to take.

A pleasant cruise down the river to the sea on one of the many pirate theme boats. A stop on the beach for a swim and lunch. The boat trip was Just long enough time not to become boring . Then a bus trip to the market. It would have nice if the market had been first as it was hot and a swim after the market would have been welcome. Plus we had to hump all our swim gear around a hot busy market. The waterfall is extra. We booked though toni macaroni tours friendly english speaking staff and cheaper than the other agents .

Drinks were not all inclusive although it was included in the price and for the waterfall you had to pay extra again

So... Boat trip is just a boat trip... Food is good and drink price is already hefty with 3€ for 1 beer and 3€ for 1 ice cream... But you don't have to. River unfortunately here and there very dirty on the bank... 1 small turtle (doesn't get bigger even with glasses).... Staff trying. Headland with fresh and salt water worth seeing. You are then assigned loungers.. The 1 €cost... Sand extremely hot there sun at zenith. Constant salesman. The best gag is the toilet paper not in the toilet but in a bucket next to it. If the foreman goes shit and puts the paper out in the open, you're gonna throw up too...
