Good experience, but take some snacks with you

It was very nice overall, guide and busrider were both good. Lunch was decent, nothing special. You should pack snacks with you. Trip overall took 10 hours.

Natural beauty of Turkey

Really enjoyed seeing a different angle to Turkey / Antalya tourist areas and shops by taking this day trip up into the beautiful mountains and seeing the natural landscapes, hearing about the history of Turkey and seeing the old spice roads and tombs/graves. The cave trip was fantastic, but only a short-ish dingy ride into the cave and back, ~20mins. It was worth the long journey into the mountains for us because we enjoyed the views & brief stops across the mountains, but that might not be for everyone. If you have children I strongly recommend travel-sickness medicine before travelling as 3 kids on our bus were unwell due to the winding roads. The village was very quaint and also interesting in terms of its history. The food was a little disappointing though; the starter and dessert were Turkish and fantastic but the main course was pasta - not typically Turkish and perhaps more for the Northern European palate. Overall a lovely day trip that I would recommend. Our guide - Ibrahim - made it fascinating for us, extremely knowledgeable and friendly, also fluent in multiple languages in order to explain the Turkish history to everyone and to ensure everyone felt included.

Unique, beautiful and fun

We knew that access to the cave was a little off the beaten track, but an hour in the mountains with beautiful views added to our enjoyment. The cave was easy to find and it was very quiet early April. Costs were reasonable/cheap and our welcome was genuine. The boat ride inside the cave only lasted about 15-20 minutes but the host was lovely and inclusive (mums were the first invited to row the little boat). The boats are small - only ten per boat at a guess, which makes the trip much more impactful. Scenery and clear waters were unique and our family loved it. We stopped for a traditional lunch in the mountains on the way back, and that made our day even more perfect. No pressure, perfect family day.

A magical trip

This tour was the highlight of the holiday. Truly magical experience up in the mountains visiting the caves, canyon and spetacular views. The tour guide was excellent and made sure we were comfortable with stops for comfort breaks when needed. We were given a comprhensive history on everything and catered for in all languages required. The button houses hundreds of years old still standing and lived in were a sight to behold and we had a lovely reception from the locals. Extremely humbling experience. I would highly recommend it, great value too.
