It’s not just pristine beaches and azure waters that make Alanya so special. The city is packed with historic monuments and natural attractions. You’ll tour Alanya Castle by foot and boat, delve into the depths of Dim Cave and have lunch on the banks of the river Dim. We start off with a journey back in time at Alanya Castle. Dating from the 13th century, it boasts mighty defensive walls, panoramic vistas over land and sea as well as a stunning clifftop location. We’ll then find out more about local customs and watch a pumpkin being turned into a lantern at the Culture House, before heading to the banks of the river Dim for lunch in a picnic restaurant. You’ll journey deep into Dim Cave where you’ll be surrounded by historic stalactites and stalagmites after which we’ll return back to the centre of Alanya. We’ll end the tour on a high note with a boat trip along the shore to see impressive views of the castle from a new perspective.

Dass Gäste von verschiedenen Hotels abgeholt werden, ist Teil des Konzepts und sorgt für den fairen Preis, den Sie in Anspruch genommen haben. Die Logistik ist exakt so geplant, wie ausgeschrieben. Was das Essen und die Lokalität betrifft: Wir bewirten täglich hunderte zufriedene Gäste mit denselben Menüs in denselben zertifizierten Betrieben. Begriffe wie „Katastrophe“ sind hier völlig deplatziert und entsprechen nicht der Realität. Wir bieten lokale Qualität, keine 5-Sterne-Gala-Verpflegung im Nirgendwo. Unsere Route – inklusive Alanya Burg und Freizeit – wird strikt eingehalten. Wir können keine physischen Orte verändern oder für einzelne Personen „umzaubern“. Wer die Freiheit sucht, sich alles individuell gestalten zu lassen, sollte nächstes Mal eine private Tour buchen, statt eine Gruppentour durch unwahre Behauptungen herabzusetzen. Wir wünschen Ihnen für Ihre zukünftigen Reisen mehr Objektivität.
The tour was very heavily catered for Germans, meaning that often the tour guide forgot to translate into English. The tour itself was very below average and we did not get a lot of information on the actual history of Alanya. The town is a very nice place but unfortunately we spent most of our time at the markets or on a boat ‘tour’, whilst the tour guide did nothing. We had to pay to see the interesting sites of the city, which is not a problem, but had very limited time to see the sites. I am not sure what I actually paid for for this tour. The day felt poorly structured and the tour guide done very little to provide a guided tour experience. He was a lovely man but I would recommend just getting a transfer into the town and seeing it in your own time.

The Alanya city tour program is clearly described in advance, both online and during the booking process. It includes a panoramic city visit, a boat trip along the coast, a short stop at the bazaar, and some free time to explore the town on your own. Entrance to certain historical sites (like the castle or cable car) is optional and mentioned beforehand as extra – we try to make this transparent so guests can decide what they’d like to do during their free time. Regarding the guide’s language support: our tours cater to a mixed international group, and while we always aim to provide explanations in multiple languages (including English and German), sometimes group dynamics can affect how often each language is used. We're sorry if you felt English was not sufficiently covered – we’ll be sure to reinforce this point with our team. We’re also a bit surprised by the 1-star rating, especially since you mentioned that Alanya is a beautiful town and the guide was a lovely person. Constructive criticism is always appreciated, but we’re unsure what exactly warranted such a low score. Side tour it takes about 5:00 am to take the time to see the ancient city, to stroll through its beautiful streets, to eat good ice cream and to swim in the Sea.

The tour guide made a lot of effort and told everything about the background and history in an interesting and fun way. Questions could be asked at any time and were answered. Visiting the cave cost €2 per person extra, to get to the castle/old town and to get a view of the town you have to pay extra for the cable car for €9 per person from the tour guide, but according to the ticket this only costs 170 lira, or about €6, and the tour guide insisted that he buy it. You had 30 minutes up there, which is definitely not enough. If you don't have far to go to Alanya, you'll have more to do with planning your own day trip. The advertised lunch on the Dim River with the option to swim was a bit disappointing for me, the water was completely littered and you didn't really get anything from the river while you were eating. It was a big room with self-service and seemed more like mass processing. (4 tourist buses parked there at once and ate the same thing from the self-service counter) All in all, it was a good day! :)

Amazing all day experience - I would highly recommend this trip. - you will see banana plantation field - Alanya city from a very high vantage point - an Ancient Cave that is 15,000 years old! - traditional Turkish Lunch included - the massive Alanya city Bazar for you to bargain in for nearly 2 hours - a pirate ship tour in the beautiful waters of Alanya (clear blue water) I recommend only for couples or adult friends to attend this tour. As the all day tour can be exhausting for kids. I went with my wife and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. However, a small family with a child had to return home due to the concern of their child's health and comfort. Alanya City is 6°C hotter than Antalya.
