This is a private service for couples or small groups traveling together. Our driver will meet you at the port exit port with a displey with your name written on it.This excursion is customised using a driver. A driver is a chauffeur specialized in driving you around, he is able to provide basic historical information, he can show you the main highlights, is knowledgeable and he has an umbrella of information. The driver will take care to give adequate time at all stops and to accommodate special requests when possible, to ensure that your experience in Sicily will be both memorable and enjoyable. The driver is not a Licensed Tour Guide and cannot take you inside monuments. In case you need a Licensed Local Guide you must pay a surcharge and we will arrange for Licensed Guide to meet you directly on the spot.

You will meet your driver at the port exit gate. He has a displey with your name written on it...After leaving the pier with your local driver, the road will wind around the slopes of the mountain, before you reach the Silvestri craters at about 6.000 feet above the sea level. To the ancient Greeks Mount Etna was the realm of Vulcan, god of fire. At approx. 3.350 m ( 10,922 ft ) it is Europe's highest and world's most active volcano. Previous eruptions have devastated Catania with the lava reaching the sea on several occasions. Continue with the drive to Taormina but first you will make an exciting stop to visit a winery in the lava of the Etna volcano. Here you will have a guided tour of the winery, a lunch with typical Sicilian products of this area and a guided wine tasting (it’s price euros 45,00 at person).
Sicily's most picturesque town and best known resort located its all year round mild climate, its preservation of local culture, ancient history and its perfect modern organization. Visit free the ancient theatre, Taormina's most remarkable monument and one of the most celebrated ruins in Sicily.Of the case of bad weather conditions is not possible to visit the volcano. We will make a personalized program change for your wishes, for example: visit of the coast of the Cyclops or tour of the Godfather to Savoca in a private house at the entrance of the village is the Bar Vitelli, which features a collection of local artisans' tools and photographs taken when Francis Ford Coppola was in this area filming scenes for The Godfather II. Remember that travel times on small Sicilian roads are slow. We waited for over an hour for our driver He went to a different port and then blamed us. I booked it through Viator and went off the itinerary of the cruise ship. Never heard of the other port the driver went to. It was Viators mistake, not ours Viator refused to refund us! It was over $500 Don’t use Viator!
Mount Etna was windy and cold. Taormina was a beautiful historic city. Our driver was professional and added a great deal to our day.

Our guide was punctual in meeting us as we exited the cruise ship. We enjoyed Taormina and Etna, but there was very limited time when we arrived in Etna, so we could not take the cable car. The tour began in Taormina, a shopping area, where the guide gave us a couple hours free time. I would have preferred the opportunity to go to Etna first and then use any extra time to shop in Taormina. Also, this is truly a personal driver, not a guided tour. The driver and the "guide" were friendly, but they shared very little information, even when asked direct questions. The van was clean and comfortable and it could easily carry 5 or 6 passengers.

I want to be more precise in explaining the details of the day we spent with you: 1) you had two of our people with you, one person was your personal driver, the second person was a driver assistant to dedicate to you in times when the driver didn't have this possibility because driving here was complicated and had to pay the utmost attention to roads and could not devote attention to you. This second person was not expected and you did not pay for it but it was offered by us. You have only paid for the driver service. 2) we gave more time to visit Taormina because the weather conditions did not give us the security of visiting the Etna volcano because in the morning on Mount Etna there was a bad weather condition, it rained a lot and there was a lot of wind but after 12 : 30 pm the conditions were better. Visiting the volcano is not always possible but we do not decide what the volcano does and you have limited time on your cruise ship's schedule. We have done the best possible for you and you have been many good and correct customers. Thanks.
