While the tour sounded good, our guide gave us almost no information about where we were and its importance. While it was a very hot day and made it hard to do things he did not give us information unless we questioned him. He seemed like a nice guy just unprepared to lead a tour. Description was more or less right, we did not receive any local fruit or juice which would have been appreciated. Lunch was our cost, which we knew, but rather pricey and we were not asked if we wanted to stop. He tried to add on a boat tour, we declined and a stop to see turtles, while interesting, really not worth the 10 dollars extra and then they wanted an additional donation.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us, David_T. We're disappointed to hear that your Galle Fort all-day tour did not meet your expectations. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the lack of information provided by your guide about the significance of the locations visited. Your feedback is important to us, and we will address this with our team to ensure that future guests receive informative and engaging tours. We regret that you did not receive the local fruit or juice that is typically included in our tours. We will review our processes to ensure that all advertised amenities are provided consistently. Regarding the optional boat tour and turtle stop, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the additional costs and donation requests. Your feedback will help us improve our communication with guests regarding optional activities and associated costs. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us identify areas for improvement. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a more enjoyable and informative experience in the future.
We had a tour with guide Aaron and he did a excellent job at explaining things and taking us to the places we wanted to see. I highly recommend Aaron for a tour.
