This tours lets you explore this area in the comfort of a minibus ,coach or 4x4. See endemic fauna and flora, enjoy a lunch at an oasis(not included in the ticket price) in the middle of the desert and explore the touristic town of Swakopmund.

Enjoy lunch at an Oasis in the middle of the desert. Lunch is at your own expense. Cash or card is accepted.
Discover the ancient flora of the desert.
Climb the highest dune in the area- Dune 7. Entry fee is not included in the price. The cost per person is NAD150.00. South African Rand is also accepted. Cash ONLY
Enjooy a scenic drive through town and then some free time to explore downtown on foot.

Fantastic tour. Started with climbing dune 7. Explored the stark desert - learned about the ancient dwarf trees and why the sand doesn’t blow. JP was a fantastic guide! Really enjoyed our day.
Extensive tour in a comfortable off-road vehicle with very local and knowledgeable driver (Martin). Hiking the Dune 7 in the morning, without tourist crowd. Extensive exploration of the Moon Valley (Welwitschia plant), enough time when visiting Swakopmund. We were on the road for 8 hours. Top program!
We had a wonderful day with lots of impressions and we'll always keep those memories. Thanks for this great experience!
Great trip in 4 x 4 through the dunes and rocks to discover wild plants balanced with a visit to an historic town . Could have moved closer to the flamingos but we had a very informative guide.

This was our second tour with Red Dune Safaris. Our ship was late getting into port but JP and Martin still managed to pick us up at the new berth and give us a full tour. The scenery was amazing and we learned a lot about Namibia. Would highly recommend.

After our cruise ship was refusing entry to the Harbour due to strong swells, we finally docked at the cargo section. The harbour would not allow us to disembark! Luckily I corresponded with JP through what’s app and we could keep each other informed of the progress. After many hours delay we were finally allowed to disembark with JP ready and waiting. JP managed to squeeze everything thing with the exception of shopping in Swakopmund. It was fantastic and amazing landscape so different to anything seen before. Well done JP

Len was our tour guide. He was fantastic. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and a great driver. Not only that but he packed an extremely lunch!!👌👌😄😄

An enjoyable day with a varied mix of attractions. The visit to the oasis was very interesting and the restaurant there was remarkably cheap considering it is the only one for thirty miles in each direction. Our driver/guide was friendly and informative. Dune 7 is over-rated.
